Our Protection K9 Tairyn has been doing exceptionally well with all aspects of training from grip development, targeting, confidence, except the bark on command. Bark on command is an enormously successful way to de-escalate a spiraling situation with a Protection K9. Most people are more afraid of dog bites than guns. Alot of people ask about protection training, what's involved and how it works. Here's a clip from behind the scenes with us working. In the video we reward the barking with a bite, thus encouraging the dog to bark more. Nobody wants to go toe-to-toe with a working dog that not only looks intimidating but has a deep throaty bark to back it up. Enjoy.

In our Board & Train program we customize our training approach to each dogs individual needs. For the Belgian Turvuren, Rider, he needs socialization and exposure to curb his low confidence, while the Golden Retriever Ellie, needs more focus on boundary setting to stop nuisance behaviors such as leash pulling, jumping and stealing paper products.
