🐾 ATTENTION LOW-INCOME PET OWNERS! 🐾

One unplanned litter can quickly turn into dozens more animals needing homes. Spaying and neutering is the single most effective way to prevent pet overpopulation and reduce the number of homeless animals in our community.

Safe Harbor Animal Coalition is proud to offer low-cost spay/neuter assistance for qualifying low-income pet owners in Baldwin County.

💚 Co-Pays
🐱 Cats — $10
🐶 Dogs — $20

Your co-pay covers:
✔ Spay or Neuter Surgery
✔ Rabies Vaccination
✔ All surgery-related costs

These programs are designed to make responsible pet ownership affordable and accessible for families who need a helping hand.

📌 Baldwin County low-income residents may qualify.
📌 If someone in your household receives Medicaid, the Alabama Spay/Neuter License Plate Program may also be available to assist eligible pet owners statewide.

Every pet altered helps prevent future suffering, reduces shelter overcrowding, and keeps more animals out of harm’s way.

With a heavy heart, Trey crossed the rainbow bridge today. Many of you have seen Trey at the shop, especially here lately. Unfortunately, we woke and had to say goodbye. We gave him tons of hugs and cuddles.

I fostered Trey 11 years ago. Today, he was estimated by the vet to be 16 years old. While speaking with the vet, he remembered rescuing Trey and after removing his front leg, he placed him for adoption. Thats when I decided to foster him. From there it was history. Trey raised our last 3 babies and has been such a great dog, companion and family member. We will be lighting a candle in the shop tomorrow in remembrance of Trey!

We know, he is now running around with Luna on all four legs!🐶🌈❤️
