Introducing Torvi!

Sweetest little Fjord weanling. She is the object of our travels. Slated to be Lindsey's personal mount.
Welcome to the family little one!
So far she is doing great in the trailer. Calm and chill, stuffing her face.

We'll post more pics when we can, currently trying to get out of the area before some high winds come in this afternoon.

Fabulous day!!
Part of the reason we pushed so hard the first night/day was so we could have time to sightsee.
Taking the big truck and trailer through Yellowstone National Park was not as bad as we thought since it's the off season.
After leaving the park we pulled over at a turnout and decided to hiked up a bluff, because why not. There was nothing but gaming paths but we randomly found a geocache. It had random items and a list of everyone who had found it. We took a treasure and added one of our own.
Was so cool.

We should arrive at our destination late tonight and be ready for an early morning update!! :)

Made it all the way to West Yellowstone yesterday after some sight seeing along the way, including mining for sapphires! Super fun!!
Nice to be in a hotel, and sit down to a real meal.
Yeehaw.

Road Trip!!!
Decided to leave last night and get some team driving in overnight so we can have some time to sightsee on our way.

What are we doing? Well, no reason to be mysterious.. of course we're getting a horse. Why else would we leave the state in Oct!?

Stay tuned for more adventure!

Not all horses have the mentality and temperament to teach. The ones that do are just phenomenal. I love our horses!! They are amazing teachers!!

Share a pic or name of a horse that has been amazing for your riding journey!

Jima
Olympia WA
2013 Eventing trained mare
OTTB
Competed through Novice with plenty of scope to go higher if desired.

Jima is a great versatile mare. Has been to the beach many times, lots of trails, has ridden and led over a dozen hunter paces. Was ridden by an advanced teen. Jima has lots of power but will only use it when asked. Not spooky. Trailers like a champ.
Can be turned out with mares or geldings, is higher in the herd. Currently lives with a gelding and a mare.
Her primary rider has chosen to switch disciplines and we are looking to find her next rider so that she doesn't get put on the back burner too long. Too good to sit and do nothing, she loves to get out and have fun.

Good for the farrier, front shoes
UTD on shots/worming
Low 5's starting with 1
PM if interested
