Today is the last day of the heat advisory in our service area. Have you been melting? 🥵 We’ve been concerned for all the pups so it’s nice to get a break though we know a few sun lovers who will miss it.

Washington gets all kinds of unpredictable weather regardless of the season. Our service operates throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions. We are committed to keeping your outdoor space clean and enjoyable every season. Extreme PNW weather (heat, snow, torrential rain) can sometimes make it a challenge to service your yard safely. Should that happen, we will scoop “double doody” on the next service date or make alternate arrangements with you as needed.

We love seeing all the wonderful Scoopervisors on our routes but it’s important to keep them safe during this heat advisory! Please keep them inside and in cool areas, we’ll catch them up on treats on the cooler scooping days.

🌡️ Heat Safety Tips for Dogs:
☀️ Limit outdoor exercise to early mornings or evenings
🤚 Test asphalt with your bare hand for seven seconds to prevent paw pad burns
💦Provide constant access to shade and fresh water
🚗 Never leave your dog in a parked car, as temperatures can become lethal within minutes
🛑 Limit runs, long walks, or heavy fetch sessions during peak heat

Keep yourselves and your dogs cool, leave the scooping for us. We’ll completely remove everything we scoop so no smells linger!

It’s Friday 🎉 We know you’re ready to clock out and jump into the weekend!

No one is required to be present during service as long as the technician has safe and easy access to the yard. If an unsafe dog is present or the gate is locked, the yard may be skipped until the next service date. Gates will always be secured upon entry and exit. You can elect to receive an “on the way” and “completed” message.

When it’s time for a walk, try the 5-Second Rule. Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If it’s too hot for your hand, it will burn your dog’s paw pads. Stay inside and wait until the temperature lowers.
