Adoption Alert 🥳 Elsa/ Mandi has been adopted💜 She landed in a WONDERFUL home where she will be so loved! Her new mama named her Maeve:)

Elsa came into our rescue in December of 2025 heavily pregnant. Just 4 days after transport she gave birth to her beautiful babies. After raising her babies she got spayed, she also got her tongue repaired since it was badly cut before we took her in, she got a dental as well to remove some fractured teeth and lastly she went through heartworm treatment. It was a long journey but she’s now moving on to bigger and better things!

Adoption update 🩷 1 year ago this sweet girl was left behind by her family in South Texas. She lived in an abandoned house and was wondering the streets to survive. Thanks to a wonderful volunteer she was picked up and was temporarily fostered her so that she would have the opportunity to travel to DFW to join a very special family. Lucy has spent the past year being the princess of the house. She is absolutely spoiled rotten! For her one year adoption anniversary her family spent the day celebrating her and got her new toys & a doggie cake 🍰 These updates keep us going on the hard days and remind us why we do what we do😌

Benji has made it to his forever home 🏡 This sweet guy came to us a few months ago from South Texas and thankfully he was able to get groomed, vetted, and his eye injury taken care of. Now he gets to enjoy his new life. 💚

Elsa aka Mandi is officially available for pre- adoption! This sweet mama came into our rescue last year when she was heavily pregnant. She gave birth to 4 puppies on December 5th. Since then she’s raised her puppies and now it’s her time to shine. We think she’s a chihuahua/ Pomeranian or Eskimo mix . She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and is 2 weeks out from completing her heartworm treatment. We estimate her to be about 3 years old. She received a full dental about a month ago. She had a fractured tooth that was removed and her tongue was repaired. When Mandi got spayed they discovered a very large gash at the back of her tongue leaving it barely hanging on. We aren’t sure how it happened but they were able to repair it and it’s completely healed. Madi is the most easy going lovable dog. She is good with other dogs, she’s potty trained, very easy going, and she also enjoys sunbathing. Mandi is one of 13 dogs we removed from a very neglectful situation from The Rio Grande Valley. She currently weighs about 17lb but Heartworm treatment has caused her to put on a couple of pounds so her normal weight is about 14lb. Every person that meets her falls in love with her and whoever adopts her will be a luck family 🩷

Truffle, Gizmo, Thor and Zoe were rescued from a hoarding/ neglect situation. They were severely matted, flea infested, and some had pretty bad skin issues. As you can see they are so happy to make it out of the situation they were in. The initial pictures we received really show just how bad their skin issues really are. Everyone went to Texas Wellness to get vaccinated and thankfully everyone was heartworm negative! 😊 and right after they went to the groomers to get a fresh cut.

Canelo the yorkie was surrendered by a lady that has been feeding him for a long time. He lived completely outside. The vet estimated him to be 9 years old. 🥺He is truly such a sweetheart and now he finally has a chance to a new life. He tested negative for heartworms which is great! But he did test positive for Ehrlichia 😕 He is starting his 30 days of doxy but he needs all the prayers that he can get. We have another dog that has Ehrlichia and it’s been a very bumpy road so we hope his case is more straightforward.

Yesterday’s vet bill was $590 and their grooming bill was $175 total. If you are able to donate a couple of dollars so we can continue to help & pay for upcoming spay/ neuters we would greatly appreciate it 🩵

Welcoming Elvis, Lincoln, Bailey, and Priscilla❤️ These adorable 9 week old puppies are officially ready for adoption! They weigh between 2.5-3lb. Their mama is a cute scruffy terrier mix that weighs about 13 lb & we think the dad may have been some type of shih Tzu/ schnauzer mix.

They have received their first round of vaccines, dewormer, and microchips.

Luca & Sasha are officially ready to find their forever homes 😍 Sasha weighs about 3lb and Luca weighs about 3.7 at 10 weeks old. We aren’t sure if they are related or if they were just dumped in the same area. Sadly when they were found they were extremely skinny and infested with fleas that even their gums started to look a little pale. Thankfully after some TLC they are back to being happy and healthy little puppies. They have gone to the vet and have been vaccinated, dewormed, and are current on all of their preventatives. Miss Daisy has found her forever home 🌼😍 This sweet girl is truly so deserving. She was dumped in RGV with her brother Milo and one other sibling but sadly by the time we found out about them her sibling was already hit by a car and passed away. Despite seeing and experiencing such sadness so early in her life she still remains a happy go lucky puppy. We are so thrilled that she found such an incredible family💛
