Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them

in loving forever homes. CLOSED Monday & Tuesday. *Please note that you cannot play with, put on hold or adopt a cat or kitten unless you have a pre-approved application on file! Meet Juanita (female) and Shorty (male)—a timid, ultra-sweet bonded pair looking for a peaceful home to call their own.
It takes a moment for them to warm up to new faces, but once they know they’re safe, their gentle, loving personalities shine through. They love soft blankets, quiet afternoons, and grooming each other.
If you have a quiet home and a little patience, Juanita and Shorty will give you double the love in return.

💞 SHORTY & JUANITA — BONDED BEST FRIENDS LOOKING FOR LOVE 💞

Shorty and Juanita are two wonderful kitties who are having a little bit of a hard time showing everyone just how special they are.
They are both still a little shy, but thanks to the love and attention from our amazing “cuddlers” at Whiskers TOO, they’re gradually coming out of their shells and making wonderful progress! What these two really need is a quiet, loving home of their very own. Together.

We know that once Shorty and Juanita are away from the noise and activity of shelter life, given time to settle in and realize they’re safe, their personalities will really begin to shine. They are total sweethearts, and would make wonderful companions.

Someone, please give Shorty & Juanita their happily ever after. They’ve already chosen each other — now they just need to find their person or family.

Shorty & Juanita are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
