Whiskers Pet Rescue Whiskers is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to caring for homeless cats & kittens in our community. HOURS: Whiskers is open to the public Wednesday - Sunday 1-4pm.

Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them in loving forever homes. CLOSED Monday & Tuesday. *Please note that you cannot play with, put on hold or adopt a cat or kitten unless you have a pre-approved application on file! Also, adopters with appointments always have priority, so please make an appointment. It is always better to get pre-approved. Apply online at WhiskersPetRescue.org

Busy day at Whiskers as kitties head home for the fall! Today we said goodby to Misty, Ava, Sailor and Chiquitina (kitten not pictured). But the best news of all was for Mayhem, who struggled at the shelter with all the activity especially when much of it involved other cats! So he went to live with a foster, who took excellent care of him, preparing him for just this day. Unfortunately we don’t have a photo since everything happened at his foster’s house. But we’re pretty sure he was smiling❤️

Hi, I’m Miss Ellie! I’m 5 years old, gorgeous, calico, and yes…I know it.

Sadly, my previous owner passed away and now here I am. I am currently in charge of the office at Whiskers Too. I’m looking for a new person to love and supervise.

Most of the time I’m sweet as sugar. But every now and then, the spice comes out. What can I say? I’m a calico—personality is part of the package. I need someone who understands kitties like me!
