Today marked the last day here at Camp Wintergreen.
While Wintergreen Kennels will remain open for the next month for any boarding or grooming needs, we wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU.

When Camp Wintergreen first began in 2012, we had no idea how popular it would become over time. Through the years, we have cherished getting to know all of you and your families, both the two- and four-legged members alike. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or joined in more recent years, thank you for entrusting us with the care of your pets every day.

Regardless of the weather or whatever else was happening in the world (remember those contactless COVID drop-offs and pickups?), spending time with your pets each day created so many memories for us that we will never forget.

“Thank you” doesn’t even begin to express how appreciative we are of all of you.

Leo is celebrating both Halloween and his fifth birthday today!

This handsome boy is pretty much always seen with a ball in his mouth or infront of him. When he isn't preoccupied chasing the ball, he loves to snuggle and play tag with his friends.

We are so happy to be celebrating another birthday at camp today! Riggs is four years old!

Riggs is always a happy go lucky boy, and odds are, if you've driven by camp on a Wednesday, you've seen him running laps around the yard with his friends. When he isn't busy running around with the zoomies, Riggs loves to play in the pool and splash around!

Our last week of camp is here and it's going to be hard saying goodbye to all of our camper friends! That being said, it wouldn't be a true Camp Wintergreen send off without one last Tongue Out Tuesday!

We're celebrating Bella's 11th birthday at camp today!

This talkative and sweet girl has been coming to camp with us since she was just a pup and it has been an absolute pleasure watching her grow up! When she isn't busy running around the yard with her friends or chasing after her brother Riggs, you can usually find her splashing around in the pool or puddles!

Maisy is celebrating her 7th birthday with us today!

This sweet girl loves to snuggle with just about everyone, including all of her camp friends! When she isn't being a snuggle bug, she loves sunbathing on top of the wooden play structure.

Campers! Just as a reminder this upcoming Monday, October 13th, Camp Wintergreen will be closed in recognition of the holiday. We hope you all get to enjoy the long weekend!

Campers, it's time for our last Pet of the Month contest!

It's time for our last Pet of the Month contest and your last chance to be eligible for our 2025 Pet of the Year contest next month!

To enter your pet, comment your favorite picture of them below along with their name. Our favorite five entries will be entered into our finalist round where they will compete for your votes to the title and Pet of the Month prize package. Finalists dressed up in their halloween costumes will get an extra ten votes added to their final total.

Tanner is celebrating his fifth birthday with us at camp today!

Tanner is the king of playtime when he is with all of his friends at camp. Whether it be chasing after toys or splashing around in the pool, he always knows how to have a good time!
