In this day and age where there is so much difficulty hiring people to come in they are still getting paid to do a job while they’re there

I am getting extremely frustrated from being told I am rude when I ask people to deliver what was ordered. seems to me that would be a simple request if you order something and you pay for it you expect it to be delivered. Do we need to lower our expectations and pay more for less I don’t think so!

Whether you’re short staffed or full staffed people are getting paid to do a job just like I’m getting paid to breed dogs and deliver high-quality puppies

I’m not allowed to say oh geewhiz I was busy I didn’t have time for your puppy this week but maybe next week I’ll get to it …..not acceptable

Being paid to do a job and you need to do the job you’re being paid to do.

My reproductive vet recently sold her practice to an outside firm no communication to clients no updates on the transition no updates on any changes just unavailable to book appointments because there was no one there to work with the dogs for reproductive issues. And no explanation just we can’t help you . and this was primarily a reproductive practice

We had to call around and find a vet who would take us which is very limited as to availablity anyway. the veterinary practice we were with was no help at all finding care

The only communication we received was move your frozen semen or it will be tossed
Kind of hard news to receive when you were assuming (my mistake ) that the venue you trusted would still be available for you

So to all of you out there be proactive . be on top of things and make sure your dog receives the best possible care and it might not be where you currently are.

Things are changing dramatically in the dog care industry and you need to be on top of those changes to make sure you aren’t left out in the cold like we were

I loved the reproductive vet that we used and her staff they were wonderful

but that situation has changed and they’re no longer offering the services we signed up for and the really sad part is nobody contacted us to tell us things were changing

A little communication upfront would have created a more positive outlook on the transition for the business. I have to think that many other breeders were left with a very bad outcome as to how this was handled. I’m leaving their name out for now I don’t know how long that will last

Been sometime since we had some exciting news around here

Introducing Munchkin
His mama is Munch and he is a singlet. Meaning a litter of one

Munchkin will be a week old on Monday. Both mama and baby are doing well

In a world gone crazy and everybody schedules upside down thought you might appreciate something to smile at

One of our goats decided to visit a couple of the Mastiffs in the adjacent play yard

So much to our surprise when we looked out to see three where we thought there would be two critters and lo and behold pepperoni the goat was visiting with Gridley and Wynder
