The biggest difference I see between TCC & other ‘trainers’…

The dogs. They’re real - the clients & reviews are real.. the photos aren’t AI generated ‘ads’. Thanks to you guys (sincerely, thank you) my ‘ad’s’ are quite literally your referrals.

Find another trainers page - what does their weekend look like? By the way, this isn’t even all the dogs I’ve had my hands on the last few days!
•
“How do you have the time?” When you know what you’re doing, you capitalize on proper techniques, moments and communication. The rest flows.

Excited to post these two.. big moment for TCC❗️

Tri County Canine has entered ‘Tri State Canine’ status as of last week!
•
The other day, I traveled to Manhattan, New York to pick up Rolo (2) and Charlie (4.5). I’ve now personally trained dogs from PA, NJ & NY..!
•
While a 4am wake up isn’t exactly ideal, I was cruising home through the Lincoln Tunnel by 6am & felt an extreme amount of gratitude for where these amazing animals, and my incredible clients, have and are taking me - I recognize that God has been putting a lot (and I mean a lot) of really great people in my life.
•
These two are going to be cruising the streets at the pace their owner sets, spending time on ‘place’ when the household is busy - and hopefully some off leash time in nearby parks!

“Don’t get a Malinois, they’re crazy!”
•
Every so often, a popular ‘military movie’ comes up featuring a K-9 (often a Belgian Malinois) and, in some ways rightfully so, any trainer with breed experience will caution you on adopting/purchasing one..
•
If you’re looking for a cuddly couch potato - likely not the right breed for you & I’d agree with the above..
However..
•
Luna is a rescue from M.A.D. (Malinois and Dutch Shepherd) who was by the grace of God plucked from a kill shelter and adopted by an amazing family in New Jersey.
•
Why was she sent to TCC for training? Because she is, in fact, a little crazy! More often than not, the issues are chaotic walks, high prey drive preventing off leash activities, and restlessness in the house. Leave it to me, and all those are solved. Off leash the entirety of the take home session, and she will earn the ability to hang in the house far more often with a solidified place command..
•
Don’t shy away from the breed. Have someone with experience assist you in adoption and selection, and above all else, get your dog trained!

Dogs learn through mirroring - good & bad behaviors. Only having one trained dog in the household is difficult. This family sent all 3!
•
How’s it work? Kaya went through the program first and after her take home session, along came these two. The family can practice with Kaya and transition her new behaviors to their home - two weeks later, Cap & Sug will return ready to fall in line!
•

You may turn gray waiting for an Eagles 🦅 win, but..

Your dog doesn’t need to reach ‘maturity’ before training.
Baxter here is (6) and on his second home after NYC living wasn’t his groove 🕺
•
His owners have made solid progress - & TCC has him during his families European ‘tour’.. he’s now trust worthy off leash, non-reactive on-leash, jumping into vehicle’s & holding a place around other dogs, food, etc..
•
Labs are one of those breeds - as sweet as they are - if you DON’T invest in training as a puppy, you will pay for it in various other ways with general aggravation being at the top of the list..

Unsure of men with hats?

That’s what trips to Lowe’s are for.. where, quite literally, every man is wearing a hat.
•
Had I brought Conrad to Lowe’s immediately and ‘flooded’ him with these scenarios (walking by men and/or holding a down around various passerby’s) it likely would have gone poorly.
•
Relationship - obedience - testing the boundaries..

This dog is a Saint…! Literally and figuratively.
•
When you have a St. Bernard - there’s no other option but to get them trained. Before Kaya heads to Vermont for the winter, TCC has her fully off leash and the ability to hold “place” while 6+ kids play tag is good preparation for watching the skiers ⛷️ go by..

The kids were convinced Ranger was in fact a fox 🦊
Not sure what white foxes they’ve seen but.. I can see it in a sense!
