Today Alexis and I got to talk to the All About Your Pets:Intro to Companion Animals class up at UConn. We discussed what to look for in a dog facility: boarding, daycare, and grooming. How to get into the dog training field and what to look for in a dog trainer. As well as the pros and cons of having a service dog, service dog 411 and how to interact with service animals.

Talking to this many people was definitely nerve racking but we always love an opportunity to educate people on what they should be looking for in a pet professional!

MyK9’s goal has always been to raise the standard of pet care. All for the love of dogs🐕 💕

Looking for premium boarding, small group play, fear free grooming or some science based training? We’ve got you covered!

Oh Sonny. How we will miss you. When we took over this building, Sonny was one of the regulars that came with it. Seeing old pictures of his face before it was sugar dusted, in this same building is something we are so grateful to find. Sonny, you will be so deeply missed. Watching you help other dogs be brave, teach puppies how to dog, and most importantly, chase after your ball while yelling at us the whole time will be something we miss. We will take good care of Rosy for you, don’t worry 🤍 MyK9 will be a lot quieter without you :(
