💕 Good news! Denali is safe in foster! 💕

Denali is the proud mama of Molly and Lane, the two German Shepherd puppies we recently welcomed into rescue. Her life has changed dramatically in just a short time. After living outside in a yard, Denali is now receiving the care she deserves.... updated vetting, vaccines, preventatives, as well as a much-needed bath/deshedding, nail trim, and plenty of love. She got the full makeover!

This sweet girl is happy, healthy, and scheduled to be spayed within the next week or two. She will remain in foster while she recovers and enjoys being pampered.

Denali was an incredible mother to her puppies, and now it's her turn to be cared for. Her breeding days are behind her, and she is finally safe, loved, and enjoying life as a cherished JDR foster dog. ❤️

🚨 STOP SCROLLING: Balto needs your help finding his forever home!🚨

Why is Balto still waiting for his forever home? We have no idea, because this 1–2 year old mix is a total catch. If you’ve been looking for a dog that can keep up on the trails, snuggle on the sofa, have play dates with other dogs, go to baseball games, bring him out to breweries- Balto is your GUY!

He’s doing amazing in his foster home, showing off his social skills with humans and other dogs alike. He is currently in a foster home with a 3 year old male dog and they love playing together. He’s smart, focused, and looking for a family to continue his training journey. He has prey drive so no small animals and cats for this guy.

JDR would love to pull Sloane from Elizabeth Animal Shelter ASAP as she needs to leave the shelter before they run out of space. Sloane can also be directly adopted from the shelter!
She is estimated to be around a year old, breed unknown. Medium “sized” but stocky. Sloane was found as a lost dog with a harness but never reclaimed. She is friendly with people and had a positive dog meet with a male dog at the shelter. Dog meets can be accommodated at the shelter. She is very strong and will require a strong handler ready to start training with her. 🚨 Immediate Foster or Adopters Needed 🚨

Lulu and Lemon are arriving today and need a safe place to land! These adorable little sisters are just 3 lb and 6 lb, and we're looking for foster or adoptive homes for either puppy.

Even if you can only help overnight, that would make a huge difference...we can arrange for one or both to move to another foster home tomorrow. A foster willing to travel to the Union County area would be ideal to help secure placement today for the pup(s)

Both girls are dog friendly, cat friendly, outgoing!

Meet Lulu & Lemon 🍋🐾

These adorable female siblings are looking for their own forever homes! Approximately 2.5 months old, both girls are incredibly friendly, playful, outgoing, and full of puppy energy. They’re dog friendly with both large and small dogs, cat friendly, and have been great little companions... playful without being destructive.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we welcomed in two special German Shepherd puppies looking for foster-to-adopt homes while they complete their vetting journey.

Meet Molly & Lane ❤️🐾

Molly is named in honor of Margaret "Molly" Corbin, the first woman to receive a military pension for her service in the Revolutionary War after bravely taking over her husband’s cannon when he was killed in battle.

Lane is named after Sharon Ann Lane, the only American servicewoman killed as a result of enemy fire during the Vietnam War.

We paid tribute to these courageous women through these sweet girls who are now searching for loving families of their own.

These two female puppies are looking for immediate foster-to-adopt placement in their future forever homes while they finish receiving their veterinary care. They are ready to start learning, socializing, and becoming cherished family members.

Double the fluff, double the fun 🖤🐾

We have TWO adorable female German Shepherd puppies looking for immediate placement into homes!! They are approximately 2 months old, looking for individual foster-to-adopt homes while they complete their necessary vetting. They’ve already received their first round of vaccines and are ready to start learning about the world!

These girls are at the perfect age for socialization, confidence building, and beginning the foundation for future training. We are looking for committed families who understand the importance of raising well-rounded puppies and are ready for all the fun (and work!) that comes with shepherd puppies.

As these puppies came from an outside environment with limited human interaction, they are looking for calm homes that will give them time and patience to come out of their shell and prioritize socialization with the outside world.

All resident dog(s) must be up to date on vaccines and altered. (Stay tuned for their mom entering our rescue this week too!!)

We are happy to share that 4 JDR dogs recently found their forever homes! 🐾

GATOR is now a cherished member of a wonderful family with human siblings, a big yard, and even a pool to enjoy!

BLUEBELLE absolutely adores her new dad, who can’t wait to take her on all kinds of fun adventures

PENNY hit the jackpot with an amazing family, complete with multiple 2-legged and 4-legged siblings to play with!

PRINCE (now Boone) joined an active family of 5 where he gets to enjoy a huge yard, run around with 3 human siblings, and learn the ropes from his Catahoula mix big brother!

We are so excited for all of them as they begin this next chapter. Wishing Gator, Bluebelle, Penny, and Boone a lifetime of happiness and love!

Thank you to our wonderful adopters for adopting. And a big thank you to the foster families...this couldn't have happened without you🐾

Meet Picasso, Lulu and Lemon! All three pups are looking for adoptive homes (or foster if not adopted) next weekend starting May 30th!

Picasso is the brother of Prince (still available for adoption) and Penny (adopted)! He’s fluffy like Penny but has a beautiful coat pattern like Prince. At 2.5-3 months old Picasso is just a baby who is looking for a family who will continue to work or crate and potty training, socialization, and give him lots of love. He is expected to be medium/large as an adult and is in a foster home with cats currently, which he’s curious about but doesn’t chase. He is neutered and UTD on all vaccines.

Lulu and Lemon are both 2 months old chihuahua mixes (best guess) who are about 5 lbs or so currently. They are outgoing and love playing with their big foster sibling (a pittie)! They’re both looking for homes who will continue to work or crate and potty training, socialization, and give them lots of love. They’re both expected to stay small as adults. They will be adopted out on spay contracts and are UTD on age appropriate vaccines.
