For the past 2 days I had the pleasure of getting to know and fall in love with Lucy and Leo. Lucy is a cute puppy who looks up to her big brother Leo. In her mind Leo should never be on a leash lol. Leo is the big brother who plays and loves everyone he meets ( he knows no stranger.) our first day we walked 2.5 miles, ( over the course of 3 different walks) played inside, and I helped Lucy with potty training and taking her out every 3 hours seemed to be what’s best for her. Their mommy loves them very much so of course I kept her updated on how they were doing

Remember fire works can be scary to pets on this holiday weekend . Take precautions for your pet. If they need medication make sure you have your meds , if you pet needs a calming collar then get that . If your pet needs a thunder shirt, your loca pet stores should have them . Remember pets are not aware that 4th of July exist or knows that a fire work won’t get them .

Layla also went home home today after a doggie sleep over. She stayed mostly to herself. This was her first time being away from her people. She wanted to be loved and left alone when the other dogs came . She ended up staying in her own room ( by her choice) and was given special one on one attention through out the day . It’s these dogs that might not do so well in a boarding situation. This is why I started doing what I do . Layla was uncomfortable around other dogs and was super nervous when other people came around . By the end of the night me and Layla were the best cuddle partners and she had her own little tv when I was not in the room with her so she could watch tv when she wanted. She was so happy to see her mom when she left . I try to make sure I can accommodate all pets . Which is why I offer different types of pet sitting . Some dogs need more attention, some less , and some need trust built in order to take care of them properly.
