We love our cats very much. We live in Houston Texas They are a fun and fun-loving breed with a relaxed and social attitude rarely associated with cats.

About the Devon Rex

The Devon Rex, the Pixie of the Cat Fancy, sports oversized ears on an elfin face with large impish eyes. This adorable combination only hints at the mad-cap personality within – a cross, some say, between a cat, a dog, a monkey, and Dennis the Menace. Devons are interested in everything and everyone around them. Their playful nature means Devons easily learn tricks and are always up for a game of hide-and-seek, tag, or fetch. This unique breed possesses intensely loyal, human-loving, dog-like qualities. A person must be prepared to be owned by a Devon. A Devon will eat with you, sleep with you, and perch cozily on your shoulder while you are on the computer or reading. They will follow you around the house, sit at your feet, or jump on your lap the minute you sit down. A Devon will accompany you on your household chores, happily trilling, cooing, and chirping as they look for ways to help. Children and Devons are naturals as best friends and tireless playmates. The social nature of the Devon makes them unsuited to spending long periods of time without companionship. Devons do not discriminate in terms of the company they keep. They do very well with people, other Devons (often creating a “Devon pile”), cats, dogs, and even the occasional bird, ferret, or rabbit. Devons do shed, although their unique coat may make the shedding hair less obtrusive than that of many cats. While some people with animal allergies tolerate Devons very well, anyone with allergy issues should arrange to handle a Devon before considering acquiring one.

🐾🐾 When All Three Finalists Are Yours! 🏆🏆🏆

This time, there were so many Devon Rex cats at the show that they couldn't even all fit into one judging ring! 😻

And the competition was incredibly strong! All the cats were in excellent condition, and different judges chose different cats as Best of Breed.

Usually, judges narrow down the group to fit everyone into one ring, then select the top three from the finalists.

But one judge decided to do things differently — an elimination-style competition! One by one, cats were eliminated...

And imagine our excitement when only THREE cats remained — **AND ALL THREE WERE OURS!!!** 🎉🏆🏆🏆 Which meant we took all three top spots!

It's just a shame the other judges didn't make equally excellent decisions! 😂

With a little delay, we’re excited to finally introduce our Choux × Nika litter! ❤️
The kittens were born on August 28, 2026, and reservations will open on October 28.
We have a beautiful little red family — all of the kittens are red, with either mackerel tabby or classic tabby patterns. 🧡
They are still growing and changing so quickly! In about two weeks, I’ll take new, more professional photos so you can see them better. 📸

Look at this handsome boy who came to us all the way from Ukraine, from breeder Oksana Karlova! ❤️

Meet **DreamCatcher Gregory**. He is already an adult, and today he participated in his first show with us. I was very happy that all of the judges commented on his excellent type.

He didn’t get any medals today, though. There were no other cats competing in his particular category, so eventually he was compared with an Oriental! 😄

Well… standing next to that incredibly refined, elegant, aristocratic-looking Oriental, poor Gregory looked like a country boy who had accidentally wandered into a royal reception. 😂

But really — how are you supposed to compare those two completely different types of cats? 😄

Medal or no medal, I’m very happy with what the judges had to say about Gregory and very excited to have this beautiful boy as part of our cattery. ❤️

💕 **Sepulka’s little ones are here!**

On August 28, Sepulka welcomed **two boys and one girl**. 🐾

The babies are growing beautifully, and I’m finally starting to catch up on photos of our newest litters. Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing more pictures and introducing the kittens individually. ❤️

💕 **Meet Lolly & Chouh’s beautiful babies!** 💕

They have **six little ones — five boys and one girl!** 🐾

Their only little girl has already stolen my heart, so I’ve decided that she will stay with us and become part of the next generation of Devon Rex Pixie. ❤️

The kittens will be ready to join their new families when they are approximately **14–15 weeks old**.

I owe you all a little update — and an apology. ❤️

At the moment, we have four beautiful litters of kittens growing up here at Devon Rex Pixie. Three were born at the very end of August, and one more arrived in mid-September… and somehow, I still haven’t introduced you to a single one of them!

I’m so sorry. The past few weeks have been incredibly busy, and there simply haven’t been enough hours in the day for photos, updates, and proper introductions.

But I promise to make up for it very soon. There are so many little faces I can’t wait to share with you. 🥰

For now, here is a first glimpse of our youngest September litter — beautiful mama Hanti with her little daughter. ❤️

Her two brothers are nowhere to be seen in this photo… but I promise, they do exist! 😄🐾

🐾 **And finally, meet Umi!** 🐾

The last kitten to introduce from Yasia’s litter is **Umi**, our beautiful **Cinnamon Torbie** girl. ❤️

Umi is a very special little girl with a beautiful Devon Rex type, wonderful big ears, expressive eyes, and lots of personality.

She has already found her family and is **reserved**. 🥰

And with Umi, we’ve now introduced all of Yasia’s babies from her very last litter. ❤️
