What an incredible day! South Haven has a beautiful 5 acre wooded, free park for dogs to run and play off leash! The ribbon cutting was today, such a beautiful development with a pavilion, benches, swings for the humans and wide spaces for dogs. Eventually this Riverwoods Park will have Pickleball Courts and walking and biking trails, all connected to the Kal-Haven Trail.

It's cold out there, so listen close.

1. Paw balm or booties. Salt and ice are the enemy. Wipe our paws when we come in. We'll pretend to hate it. We don't.
2. Short-haired dogs like myself enjoy a toasty coat like the one I am sporting from Decadent Dogs. I don't make the rules of Lake Michigan wind chill. I just deal with it.
3. Gets dark early now. Reflective gear, or one of those blinky collar lights
4. Towels by the door. non-negotiable
5. Fire pits are for lookin', not lickin' Ours at Hounds on Hazel is brand new and awful temptin'

When you’re a dog mom from head to toe… but apparently a Corgi Mom from head to toe. 😂 🐶

And yes, Roxanne really did say “Doodle Mom” while holding Finn. We’re not sure where that came from either. 😂

We decided the bloopers deserved their own reel. Because sometimes the outtakes are better than the original!
