Ron was a one in a million gentleman here at MHC. He was loved by many and deeply appreciated for his service to our program. He was a wonderful co-teacher and a faithful paddock companion to James and Noah. We will miss you Ron 💙

We are thrilled to introduce Katie Michaels to our coaching staff as our new Interscholastic Equestrian Association Team Coach!

Katie holds a Bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and a Master’s degree from Tufts University, where she is currently completing an advanced Education Specialist degree. Bringing extensive experience in preparing riders and horses for training, IEA and rated competitions, Coach Katie specializes in delivering high quality mounted instruction to riders from beginner through advanced levels.

Her coaching style emphasizes safety, strong technical skill development, and building the confidence athletes need to excel in the show ring.

Coach Katie will start officially August 1st but will be available for community lessons starting in early July.
