Fireworks are fun and beautiful to us, but they’re downright terrifying to our pets. Help your pet feel safe and comfortable on this festive (yet noisy) holiday!

1. Provide background noise. Soft, calming music, television, and fans can distract pets from the commotion.

2. Block off tiny areas. In an attempt to hide from the noise, small pets may try to weasel themselves into cramped spaces, where they could then become stuck.

3. Pets may become desperate and try to escape your home to get away from the noise. Make sure your pet’s microchip is up to date before the holiday in case they get out.

4. Offer cozy places to hide so pets feel safer and don’t seek those dangerously small areas.

5. Some pets with severe anxiety will need anti-anxiety medications to help them get through the holiday. Talk to a veterinarian to find out about these options.

We hope everyone has a safe and great holiday weekend! As always, if you need assistance while we are closed, please contact one of the 24 hour emergency clinics! ❤️🩵🇺🇸🐾

We are proud to sponsor this amazing fundraiser! This charity offers advocation for bully breeds, while raising funds for rescues and shelters who house them.

Two of our technicians have worked so hard to make this year a success.

Their annual event is going to be held at the Saratoga City Center, Saturday July 18th and Sunday July 19th! 🩵🐾
