📸🐾 THE BASE CAMP PETS PICTURE WALL IS READY! 🐾📸

We’ve been working on this little corner of Base Camp Pets, and it’s FINALLY ready for its close-up! 💚🌻

Our new Picture Wall is officially open for photos, and of course, our own pups had to be the first to test it out! 😂🐶

Bring your dog, bring the family, grab your best friend, or jump in the picture yourself! You do NOT need a grooming appointment to stop by and take a photo. We want this to be a fun spot for our whole community.

And can we talk about that custom “South Fork ❤️” sign?! 😍 We wanted something that celebrates the town we call home and gives visitors a perfect little South Fork photo-op while they’re here.

🐾 BASE CAMP PETS IS ON THE HUNT! 🐾

Before you toss it, donate it, or let it continue collecting dust in the garage… we might be able to give it a new home! 🏕️🐶

As we continue growing and adding a little more personality to Base Camp Pets, we’re looking for a few items our amazing community may have sitting around:

🧺 Towels – Clean, used towels are PERFECT! They don’t need to match or be fancy. Our furry clients definitely don’t care. 😂

🪑 Office Chairs – Sturdy and in usable condition.

📸 Fun items for our Picture Wall – Dog-themed décor, outdoor/adventure pieces, vintage finds, signs, props, frames, or anything quirky that would make a great photo backdrop!

🛋️ Furniture & Store Fixtures – Shelving, display racks, tables, cabinets, benches, storage pieces, retail displays, and other useful fixtures.

We LOVE the idea of reusing and repurposing items from right here in our community instead of always buying new. ♻️💚

If you have something you think might work, send us a picture before hauling it over and we’ll let you know!

And even if you don’t have anything to donate, a SHARE would be a huge help. You never know who has exactly what we’re looking for tucked away in a basement, barn, garage, or spare room!

🐾🏔️ RESCUE THREADS IS GETTING CLOSER! 🏔️🐾

Our Rescue Threads dog hoodies and human tees are getting even closer to being available, and naturally, Polly & Gertie volunteered for some very serious product testing. 😂🐶

They took their new sweatshirts on an adventure around Pagosa Springs, and we think they understood the assignment: explore more, look adorable, support rescue. 🏕️🌲

We are LOVING how these are turning out! Soon you’ll be able to grab Rescue Threads gear for both ends of the leash, including designs from our collections for people AND their adventure buddies. 🐾

And the best part remains the heart behind it all: profits from Rescue Threads go back to support local animal rescues. ❤️

🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

Today might officially be National Dog Day, but around here, dogs are kind of the whole reason we do what we do. ❤️🐶

From the freshly groomed pups strutting out of Dirty Dog Grooming, to the adventure buddies stopping by Base Camp Pets, to the dogs inspiring every design and every rescue supported through Rescue Threads, and of course, the four-legged crew running the show at Old Dog Ranch… dogs are woven into just about every part of our lives.

They’re our adventure buddies. 🏕️
Our coworkers. 🐾
Our road-trip copilots. 🛻
Our couch thieves. 😂
Our family. ❤️

And they’ve helped inspire businesses and projects built around one simple idea: dogs make life better, and we should do everything we can to make their lives better too.

So today we’re celebrating ALL the dogs: the rescues, the seniors, the puppies, the working dogs, the spoiled rotten ones, the scruffy ones, and the ones who somehow manage to take up 90% of the bed while weighing 20 pounds. 😂
