This little gem of a cat was abandoned by the river on Friday just outside of town. Fortunately, one of our clients saw the situation go down and reached out for help. He may not be wanted by his previous owners but we know his forever home is out there! Meet Tigger. He is about a 10 month old neutered male and is SWEET as can be; he considers his full time job to be makin’ biscuits and purring. He is healthy and friendly and ready to be your buddy! Vivi is a petite 8.5 lb with a long tail that helps her balance like a monkey. 🐒😆She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated. She loves people and doesn't mind dogs. She would do ok with another neutered male cat in the home, but she doesn't like other female cats. Her adoption fee is $100. Indoor only homes please (closed catio or direct outdoor supervision are fine, too. She’s adventurous and we don’t want her to run off!). Saying goodbye to our pets is one of the hardest things we have to do. Here at SFVC, we offer scheduled in home euthanasia visits to our clients and their beloved pets when possible, but we are unable to go out of the South Fork area. Dr. Linda Behrns is a SLV veterinarian that is now offering in home euthanasia services during the week; we wanted to make sure that the community is aware of this option. SLV Pet Euthanasia offers in-home euthanasia for dogs and cats in the San Luis Valley from South Fork to Fort Garland to Villa Grove to Antonito and everywhere in between
Monday thru Friday from 10am to 4pm. Visits outside of those times may be possible, an additional fee may apply

Juniper and Jasmine are still looking for a home! ❤️These sisters are the sweetest and they are best friends. We would ideally like to keep them in the same household, but are willing to separate in the right circumstance. Their foster mom says that they are playful and friendly and perfect! They are 4 months old: spayed, microchipped, current vaccines and litter box trained. Interested in adoption?
