Last weekend Thursday the 10th through Sunday the 13th we were at the Cape Cod Kennel Club and South Shore Kennel clubs all breed show. There was also Obedience, Rally, Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog testing, Dock Diving, and Fast Cat.

Iona was entered in confirmation all four days. On Thursday she took Best of Winners and Bred By Exhibitor for 2 Points. Saturday she got 2 more points and Sunday she took Best of Winners and Opposite S*x for a 4 point major. She was also entered in Fast Cat all 4 days working towards her DCAT title. Unfortunately they lost one of her scores on Saturday and it rained hard Sunday to run. She was also entered in Rally Thursday and Friday. Thursday she was a bit distracted and didn’t qualify Friday she did much better, qualified and placed 3rd. Iona also got to see her brother Stanley and midnight and of course grandma Maddie

Eilidh was entered in Rally Thursday and Friday and did not Q either day. She barked through most of her run on Friday disqualifying her! I also decided to enter her in Dock Diving as she hasn’t done it in a few years since she was always showing in breed during this show. She had a blast! She was entered in 3 splashes and Hydro Dash. Didn’t jump that far in distance, hesitated the first few jumps but managed to get her Dock Novice Advanced title. She also swam fast enough in Hydro Dash that she earned her Hydro Dash Junior Excellent title. She also managed to earn an invite to North America Diving Dogs 2027 regionals for distance and Hydro Dash.

Poor Torque was just there to cheer them on. Stinks getting old!
