Happy Hounds Center We are a full service canine center. We offer behavioral training based daycare, agility classes, private training and canine assisted life design coaching.

We are a full service canine center, from daycare and boarding to training we have you covered! We currently offer training classes and private training sessions in our Trainers Co-op. Join Sue for super fun Agility, get help with a reactive dog or build strong foundations with Alexo, Start your puppy of right or refine your dog's obedience skills with Finn, learn how to train your own service dog or learn how to transfer the skills from the training center to the real world with Colleen. For people interested in animal assisted Therapy Colleen offers Paws for Joy Canine Assisted Therapy with therapist Cris Carl on Saturday mornings Nov-Apr. Our daycare and boarding is going back to our vision of daily enrichment, training, appropriate play and more individual attention for each dog every day. Our daycare and boarding area has over 6,000 Sq ft of climate controlled indoor play areas and outdoor fenced play areas. Staff trained in canine body language, appropriate play, and enrichment. Here is how to train the next level of "Middle". Teaching your dog how to stay between your legs as you pivot. This is a helpful skill for when you need to turn your dog away from a distraction. It gives them a job to focus on while you work together.

Step two of Ferguson's meeting a new person. Off leash orientation game! Keep these sessions short and sweet so your dog doesn't get overwhelmed. Watch your dog's body language closely so you can stop them before they back slide. You want to work in the sweet spot of the edge of their comfort level without pushing them past what they can handle. An uneventful session is the best session to have!

Ferguson is starting to meet new people and starting to learn that he is safe around strangers. This is a great game to play if you have a dog who is afraid of new people! Find a friend who is patient and relaxed around dogs even if the dog barks at them. Thank you Ray for helping Ferguson work on his skills!

Every day Ferguson is getting better with his play skills, confidence, handler focus and impulse control! So proud of this boy. He is going to be a fantastic partner for someone!
