Sports Event Timings
Day 1: 12th October, 2018 (Friday)
Shot Put and Discus Throw 11:00 a.m. -12:00 Noon
Throw Ball (2 Matches) 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
Basket Ball (2 Matches) 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
Day 2: 13th October, 2018 (Saturday)
Throw Ball- 2 Matches (final and third place) 9:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon

SPORTS RULES
RULES FOR THROW BALL
(ONLY GIRLS)
1. MAXIMUM PLAYERS PER TEAM: 12 (7 ACTIVE,5 SUBSTITUES)
2. MAXIMUM TEAMS PARTICIPATING: 04
3. Double touch (Juggling the ball with both hands) while receiving the service ball is not allowed.
4. Assistance of body or legs for catching the ball will lead to an extra point for the opponent.
5. Ball should be served from behind the service line with a single hand.
6. The service will be cancelled if the ball touches the net during service.
7. A player is allowed to jump while serving or receiving the ball.
8. Turning 360 degree while releasing the ball is not allowed.
9. Catching of ball simultaneously by two players is not allowed.
10. Any ball falling on side- line or end -line will be considered a good ball.
11. Rotation among players for service shall be clock wise.
RULES FOR SHOT PUT
(ONLY GIRLS)
1. Maximum players per college:02
2. Player must rest the shot close to the neck before throwing.
3. Player cannot wear gloves or any other discomfort causing equipment during the game.
4. Stepping on the circle while throwing the shot put will lead to disqualification.
5. Shot must land within the legally specified throwing boundary.
6. It is mandatory for the player to enter and exit through the rear half of the circle.
Rules for basketball
(Only girls)
1. Maximum players per team:12(5 active,7 substitutes)
2. Maximum Teams Participating : 4
3. Game shall consist of two halves of 10 minutes each; with 5 minutes rest in between.
4. Shouldering, holding, strike, pushing or tripping the opponent is strictly forbidden.
5. Infringement of this rule will be considered a foul. Infringement in this direction for the second time will lead to disqualification of the player.
6. If a team makes 3 consecutive fouls, the opposition will get a free goal.
Rules for Discus Throw
(ONLY GIRLS)
1. Maximum player per college : 2
2. During throw, the players are prohibited from touching the top of the rim. However they can touch inner part of rims.
3. Players cannot touch ground beyond the circle
4. If player leaves circle before landing of the disc on the ground, then it will be considered as a foul throw.
5. The disc must land in the particular boundary. If disc lands outside that particular zone then that throw is considered as invalid.
