I’m in dire need to rehome this beautiful baby! Her daddy went into a nursing home and can’t keep her. We have been keeping an eye on her while he got everything situated. We have 4 dogs of our own or we would keep her. She’s very obedient. Does not wander off. Very loving! High energy. So she needs a family that is active. She loves water and the outdoors. She is friendly with cats. She does however need to be the only dog in the house.

Dozer was adopted yesterday, but unfortunately, the adopter's cats did not like him, and one of the cats tried to attack Dozer. The adopter did not want to give it more time (before anyone suggests). She emphasized that Dozer did NOTHING wrong and that he himself was fine toward the cats.

Once again, Dozer is 11 years old and is big and small dog- and cat-friendly. He is a doggy daycare candidate and still enjoys going on walks but mostly wants to nap in the sun and enjoy the peace of home life. Dozer is also house-trained and crate-trained. Before coming to the rescue, Dozer lived in a home with his human mom and other animals. She sadly had a stroke and had to be moved to assisted living.
