This week we will be teaching the dogs the definition & expectations of the Yard command. It doesn't take a lot of time but this is a serious, life saving command. It must be done with the proper attitude.

Dexter came to me when he was 8 weeks & raised here for the first months of his life. Everything I taught him was as close to the way Gary & Maryanne would need him to be. They have an older Lakie girl so Dexter also had to learn to play genteelly with Gabby as well.

They spend winters in Az. and just got back a couple of weeks ago and this is their 2nd week back in class.

Brad & Nell are bonding & doing very well. Nell was a bit concerned when Brad working with Sid but Brad told her it was OK and Nell faced the wall and took a nap. Brad works much like I do, calm, consistent and efficient.

Nell has been on one home visit and next week after class we will be taking Nell to lunch. I am looking forward to the new chapter in Brad & Nell's lives. It will be exciting and rewarding for all involved.

Nora's New Normal-

Nora's Slow Mode is actually dependable yet because it takes an entire month for a concept to become a habit. During that time, Nora will be testing because that is her only way to ask questions. It never matters what Nora does, it only matters how I react. That clarifies my expectations for Nora when she hears "Slow Mode."

In that way, there is clarity
