Oh my goodness, I can't believe it's been over a month since I've been on here. I'm so sorry. I'll be doing weekly check-ins; I'm setting a reminder, lol.

Anyway, it's time we do a puppy check-in. First up is Mr. Peabody. This little nugget is almost 5 months old, weighing in at 31.4 lbs! It's so crazy to think of him that big. There were so many nights I sat up with that little man, feeding him around the clock just to get him to gain an ounce, and now he's weighing 31.4 lbs. That's just nuts.

I'd love to hear from everyone else.

Despite looking absolutely pitiful in her cone of shame — and not being thrilled about spending the next two weeks in her crate or on a leash — she is doing really well, and we are so grateful to have her home.

We’re incredibly thankful for the good news that the masses had clear margins and appear to be nothing more than fatty tumors. What a relief that has been for our hearts.

We’re choosing to rest in the promise of 1 Peter 5:7 — “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” We’ve laid this at the Lord’s feet, and once again He has been faithful.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked in, and loved on our sweet girl. 💛

***Another update*** I'm so ridiculously happy to announce that, while they did find a third mass that was also removed, the vet said they appear to be nothing more than fatty tumors. No cancer!!! Thank you, Jesus!

*** Second update - Laila made it out of surgery. Everything went incredibly well 🥰I'm beyond thankful and grateful. 💞***

*** UPDATE*** I got her dropped off, and the X-rays are clear. So if it is cancer, it has not metastasized anywhere else. Thank you, Lord.

Our sweet little Laila is having surgery today. Please stop and say a prayer that everything goes flawlessly.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord for your goodness and mercy that is new each day. Today we ask for Your protecting hand to be placed over Laila as she goes in for surgery. Please guide the hands of the vet, the tech, and anyone else helping to see what needs to be seen, to hear what needs to be heard, and to feel Your loving guidance so that the surgery is performed flawlessly. We ask that neither one of these lumps are cancer, and if they are, that they have not metastasized. Thank you so much. We love you, Lord, today, tomorrow, and always because You first loved us. Amen

I completely forgot to post this yesterday. Honey found her furever family. We miss her so much already, but she ran up to them so fast, like she knew that was her new mom and dad. It was the sweetest thing to see. 💝💞
