🐾 Protect Your Pets Year‑Round! 🐾

Ticks, like the American dog tick shown here, aren’t just a warm‑weather problem. They can be active anytime temperatures rise above freezing, which means your pets need heartworm, flea, and tick prevention all year long to stay safe.

Why year‑round prevention matters:

Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes, which can appear during unexpected warm spells.
Fleas and ticks can survive mild winters and quickly infest pets and homes.
Tick‑borne diseases such as Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Lyme disease can cause serious long‑term health issues.

🧪 When to test:

If your pet has had a tick attached, a blood test should be done 6 weeks after exposure to check for tick‑borne infections.

Annual testing is essential to screen for heartworm disease and common tick‑borne illnesses—even if your pet is on prevention.

Keeping your pet protected is simple, safe, and far easier than treating these diseases.
Call us today to schedule your pet’s annual testing or to refill their prevention

Amy’s journey with yoga began as a deeply personal path of self-discovery and healing, eventually growing into a calling to support others in reconnecting with their bodies, breath, and inner stillness. She is a certified RYT-200 instructor and started teaching in the spring of 2025.

Her classes blend mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and restorative asana in a calm, supportive environment. She aims to help students slow down, release tension, and leave feeling grounded, renewed, and connected both on and off the mat.

Amy has a 2 year old Maine C**n cat named Kella who loves doing yoga with her!
