UPDATE: We are thankful for everyone who contributed toward this unexpected expense. We received enough to cover the invoice. Unfortunately, Nash did not survive this dreaded virus. Our hearts are broken for this baby. We will see you at the Rainbow Bridge, sweet boy.❤️ On a positive note, Nash's 4 siblings have exhibited no parvo symptoms, for which we are grateful!
It's so distressing how fast a puppy's health can change on a dime. Sweet Nash was running and playing Wed. evening and ate a good dinner. He was also playing Thursday morning and was ready for breakfast. When I brought dinner Thursday evening, he was severely lethargic, didn't want to play, and didn't want to eat. My heart just sank. A check of the pen revealed my worst fears: plops of blood where p**p should have been. Parvo. Anyone who is knowledgeable of puppies knows this is the kiss of death and requires treatment as soon as possible, which isn't cheap. Nash was in the vet's office at 8am the next morning where he was quarantined and treatment immediately began. Please pray for Nash as well as his 4 siblings who he had shared a kennel with. Parvo is extremely contagious, so we are already aggressively taking preventive measures with the others. So far they are still healthy and playful. Nash's parvo treatment is $450, so that is our goal here. Regardless of the outcome, we will still owe for the treatment, so any amount you can spare will go straight to this baby's bill. You can use the donate button below or any of the other methods shown. You can also contact Four Rivers Vet Clinic at 912-535-8165, and tell them you are donating toward Nash's treatment. Thank you in advance for your support. We can't do it without you.
