Friends of the Animal Community Our mission is to find suitable loving homes for the many wonderful animals in our shelter We help unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals.

Friends of the Animal Community (FOAC) is a small group of dedicated, animal loving volunteers in Tuolumne County who help our local animal shelter and community. FOAC is a 501c3 non profit. Since our formation in 2001 we have helped to re-home over 1000 dogs and 400 cats. Our primary focus is to help the animals in our local shelter that are often overlooked, the senior animals, and those requiring expensive surgeries or needing special medical care.

You definitely should!
This super handsome fella lost his home and now his fosters are moving, he has never been unwanted, just a series of unfortunate events for him. 😭
He is incredibly sweet and loving.
He is good with all.
Perfect cuddly AND adventure size of 55 lbs.
Rip is well out of the “puppy phase”, he is house trained and has great manners but still young enough to have a long amazing life with you (2.5 years).

Whether it’s for you, your dog, your cat, your kiddos.
Ivory is the most loving boy. He will make you feel like the most special person in the world. He loves to snuggle, just as he loves to play. He is crate trained and completely potty trained.
He is very outgoing, there is not a shy bone in his body. Ivory is only 11 months old, he is short but stout, approx 55 lbs.
ivory is neutered, UTD/microchipped.

Murphy is the sweetest dog ever. He will let you pet him forever, loves to play, walks well on a leash and enjoys long naps throughout the day. Murphy is potty trained and is good around children and cats. He loves stimulation toys like Kong or pupsicles. He does amazing in public, stays close and will usually just flop down for a snooze if you’re at a coffee shop or restaurant. Murphy loves his crate and sleeps through the night along with 2-3 naps throughout the day. Murphy is excited to find his forever home, he is full of love and cuddles just waiting to share them with others.

They are both incredibly sweet and so loving, a bit shy at first.
They are about 7 years old.
Please please foster if you can!
