Friends of the Animal Community Our mission is to find suitable loving homes for the many wonderful animals in our shelter We help unwanted, abused, or abandoned animals.

Friends of the Animal Community (FOAC) is a small group of dedicated, animal loving volunteers in Tuolumne County who help our local animal shelter and community. FOAC is a 501c3 non profit. Since our formation in 2001 we have helped to re-home over 1000 dogs and 400 cats. Our primary focus is to help the animals in our local shelter that are often overlooked, the senior animals, and those requiring expensive surgeries or needing special medical care.

He is looking for a home.

Boomer is a loving, and smart boy with the most tender soul. He is Doberman Pincher mix and has the characteristics of a perfect dobie! He adores people and is incredibly affectionate. Boomer happy to sit with you for hours, soaking up pets and leaning against your legs just to be close.

Boomer is joy to be around since he is so enthusiastic about everything. He loves to have the ball thrown for him, he will do anything for a treat, and he loves going for walks! Boomer is extremely intelligent, and very willing to please. He does well with larger dogs that are not overly dominant and would enjoy a playmate or play dates. His primary focus is his human. Boomer is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic obedience commands. Boomer is going to make a lucky person very happy!
