TDX Tracking Workshop at North Star in Somerville, ME on Saturday- Obstacles and Cross Tracks - a day filled with learning with AKC Tracking Judge Carolyn Fuhrer. Despite the wild wind, our dogs met the challenges! Crossing a road, negotiating hedge rows, learning about cross tracks - it was a full and successful day for nine terrific dog/hander teams!!

Spring Fever! New classes with KIM TRAFTON starting up in April at North Star in Somerville.
Mondays April 6, 13, 20 and continuing from there...

Puppy Kindergarten- let's give your puppy the right start. Lots of foundation work and play. Socializing and fun! Teaching a variety of skills. Covering crate training, nipping, socializing, and jumping on people. Including basic obedience in a fun-to-learn platform. All the things needed for great beginnings. 8:30 - 9:30 am
Puppy should have at least two puppy vaccines before attending class. 10 weeks old plus.

FETCH class - join us in learning all the aspects of teaching your dog to retrieve. Whether its preparation for obedience, hunting or the fast-growing AKC Fetch competition! 9:45 - 10:45

Obedience - Practice makes perfect! Focusing on all the skills necessary for
Rally, Beginner Novice and Companion Dog competition. Adding in some Open exercises as well. 11 - 12 (FULL)

Don't delay! Class size is limited to 4 per class. Required 2 per class to hold the class.

North Star's Agility workshop on Valentine's Day - Introduction to Handling and Crosses. Six handler dog teams made great progress with start line stays, front and rear crosses and learning how to introduce the teeter and weaves properly. Carolyn's clear instructions and ability to give each team individual help made the day a big success. Great workshop!!

We had eight dog/handler teams at our Introduction to Agility workshop today - all did a fabulous job and were able to do a little course at the end of the workshop! Watch for next Agility workshop on February 14 - Valentine's Day!
