Dear Valued Clients of Pet Spa,
We hope you are healthy and well! We will happily be reopening for business on Monday, June 1st!
We are posting to inform you of our new pick-up/drop-off protocols. The protocols are designed to keep everyone safe during this difficult time. Our goal is to still provide the best and most comfortable service for your pet while meeting and exceeding the recommendations of the CDC and local authorities for minimizing the transmission of the virus.
For your pet’s upcoming appointment, please note the following:
* Human clients will NOT be allowed to enter the building at any time
* All human clients must wear a FACE COVERING at time of drop-off and pick-up
* All communication with Pet Spa employee’s will take place over the phone or via email; face-to-face conversation is not permissible at any time
While Waiting in Line
* We ask that only one client at a time approach the door and ring the bell
* Please remain six-feet apart (Pet Spa will place distance markers outside to assist in the line formation process)
* Please be courteous to others and wait until they have exited the steps before approaching the door if you are next inline
Drop-Off Protocol
* Please ring the doorbell when you arrive at the door
* All dogs must be leashed with a collar or harness
* An employee will open the door and allow only your pet to enter
* The door will be closed immediately after your pet is safely in the building
* No face-to-face conversation will take place while the door is open
Communication with Groomer
* All grooming instructions are to be given over the phone when you make your pet’s appointment
* Emailing grooming instructions to [email protected] also works too
* No face-to-face communication is allowed at this time under any circumstance
* Written notes are not allowed at this time under any circumstance
* After your pet is safely inside the building, a Pet Spa employee will be available for a brief phone call for any clarifications to previously received grooming instructions
* Please be respectful of your groomer’s time by keeping the communication brief!
Pick-Up Protocol
* Due to all the new safety protocols put in place to keep our clients and staff safe, we ask you to be flexible with your pick-up times
* A Pet Spa employee will call you 15 minutes before your pet is ready for pick up
* When you arrive, please follow the distance protocols outlined above, and ring the bell when it is your turn inline
* A Pet Spa employee will greet you through the door (door will remain closed) and begin the check-out process
* We have placed the Square Credit Card Reader outside to accept credit card payments (a cash payment option is available, see cash payment section below)
* After your credit card payment has been received the door will open and your pet will be handed to you via the leash
* Only digital receipts will be available at this time
* As with drop-off, there will be no communication while the door is open
* All essential information regarding your pet’s health and behavior will be communicated to you on the pick-up phone call
Bad Weather Protocol
* In the event of rain, the Square Credit Card Reader will not be available outside
* A Pet Spa employee will manually process your credit card over the phone when we call to notify you that your pet is ready
Cash Payment
* Cash payment is accepted if that is your preferred method of payment
* Cash envelopes will be available for your use at the door
* Please place the cash in the provided envelope and insert it through our mail slot located half-way down in the door
* A Pet Spa employee will run the money through a UV sanitization process as required by local authorities at closing time
* If you prefer to use cash as payment, we ask you have the correct amount as Pet Spa will not be able to provide change at this time
Tips
* As always, service tips are much appreciated!
* Tips can be gifted in cash or electronically via Venmo
* For cash tips, please use the tip envelopes available at the door (please have the desired amount available as change can not be made at this time)
* For Venmo tips, we have attached laminated paper outside the door with each groomer’s Venmo QR code, name, and picture for your convenience
