We welcome Rich Henderson
Grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. Hunted the North Platte River and Rain Water Basin for waterfowl and all over for upland.
Got my first dog in 8th grade, a Brittany Spaniel and fell in love with hunting with a dog.
I got my first lab right after high school and fell in love with retrievers.
My corporate career took me all over the US, with my last destination being South Dakota. While living there, i was introduced to the hunt test world and what a true, fully trained retriever could do. I was hooked.
In 2016 I stepped away from Corp America to pursue this dream of training dogs. I spent the first 4 years working for some of the best retriever trainers in the country learning and honing my skills.
In June of 2021 I made the decision to go out on my own. My guiding principles were the care of the dogs and building solid, happy dogs. Whether family pets, gun dogs or National level hunt test competitors.
A solid foundation of obedience is the most important part for any dog.
