Meet Simeo, our 11-month-old grumpy-faced gentleman with a heart of gold! 🖤

Simeo came to us as a stray from Fort Hill, and it’s safe to say this handsome guy had a rough start. When he first arrived, he was dealing with a flea infestation and some skin issues. But after lots of care and a little TLC, Simeo has made a FULL recovery and is officially ready to find his forever home! 🏡❤️

So, what’s Simeo like? Well, if you’re looking for a chill, laid-back kind of guy, he might just be your perfect match! 😸 Simeo loves curling up in a cozy bed, relaxing, and observing the world around him. And by the world, we mostly mean the humans… 👀

With his naturally grumpy face, Simeo always looks like he’s analyzing your every move and silently judging every decision you’ve ever made. 😂 Are you really going to wear THAT? Is that REALLY how you’re going to spend your afternoon? He has thoughts, and you can bet he’s judging you for them!

But honestly, that’s part of his charm, and we wouldn’t have him any other way. 🥹💕 Beneath that permanently unimpressed expression is a sweet boy who deserves a loving home where he can relax, get cozy, and supervise his humans in peace.

🎉 DOG OF THE WEEK: MEET JAZ! 🎉
🐾 3 Years Old | Spayed Female | 539 Days in Shelter | Adoption Fee PAID! 🐾

Get ready to fall in love with Jaz – our toy-loving, water-splashing, pure bundle of joy! This high-energy sweetheart has been waiting 539 days (yes, 1 year and 5 months!) for her perfect forever home, and we can’t believe she’s still here.

Jaz is what we call a toy hoarder extraordinaire – if there’s a toy nearby, you better believe she’s got it (or hiding it)! Sometimes she even tries to carry all her favorite toys in her mouth at once, and although she rarely succeeds, she always gets a laugh out of our staff! 😂

💦 Jaz is also a total water baby. Whether it’s diving into a kiddie pool or chasing the garden hose, this girl is happiest when she’s soaked and splashing.

Despite her long stay with us, Jaz is always smiling and brings happiness to everyone she meets. She's dog-selective, so a meet-and-greet is a must with any future dog siblings. We recommend a home with older children due to her energy level, and while we’re not sure how she feels about cats, we’re happy to do a cat test!

Want a dog that will go out with you, rain or shine? Nala is the ultimate outdoors dog! Rain doesn’t bother her, and in fact, she might prefer it because it means she’ll get towel rubs after! You can see her looking for more whenever it stops. If you’re looking for a pal that will keep you company indoors and out, Nala would be a good fit for you!

🐾German shepherd/pitbull mix
🐾8yo, spayed, UTD on shots
🐾Would love to live with other dogs she gets along with, just no cats
🐾Loves going for walks and would LOVE a yard to run in
🐾While Nala is calm once her energy gets out, she would do best with older children
🐾Car rides, bones, and scratches are her favorite things!

🚨🐾 NEW DOG ALERT! 🐾🚨

Everyone, meet KIRBY! 💙

This handsome 2-year-old Pit Bull came to us as a stray, and he has been making us laugh ever since! 😂 Kirby may be a total heartthrob, but his goofy personality is what really steals the show.

When Kirby gets excited, he does the funniest little move—he jumps up off his two front paws while barking! 🤣 We’re not quite sure where he learned it, but we’re pretty sure he thinks he’s a professional entertainer.

And Kirby isn’t just funny—he’s a smart boy, too! 🧠 He already knows commands like sit, lay down, and speak, and he’s VERY food motivated. In fact, he would probably sell his soul for a Milk-Bone. 🦴😂

Kirby is dog selective, so a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is required to make sure everyone is a good match. 🐶❤️

As for cats… we’re not sure yet! 🐱 But we’d be happy to cat test Kirby upon request.

If you’re looking for a handsome, hilarious, treat-loving boy who will keep you laughing and smiling, Kirby may be your guy! 🥰

Another day of posting Nala because she’s had no interest 😔
She is still waiting for a forever home after all these months. Her foster family says she’s doing so well for them but wants a permanent family of her own, ideally as the only pet or with another dog she gets along with.

Please share Nala’s post so she can find the family that is out there for her. She is ready to give all her love to the right person! 💕
