Hey Four Town family!

This week, October 19-24, is VET TECH APPRECIATION WEEK! We're a small team here at Four Town Vet, so you can bet we're taking the opportunity to celebrate ALL our employees with gifts, food, and more all week long.

No vet could work without a team of dedicated, trained professionals, and here at Four Town we're pretty sure we have the best around. We invest in our team year-round, but it's nice to have an excuse to shout their praises.

If you come in this week, please let them know how much you appreciate them, too!

Hello to all our clients and our larger Four Town community!

Here’s one of our Big Announcements we’re most excited about, and one of the most visible ways we’re improving our practice to better serve you. Two of the things our community has asked for most are increased sick visit slots on Mondays and (drumroll please!) office open hours on Thursdays. So… we’re going to do that! We took our time planning our new hours to make sure we still had plenty of early morning and late afternoon appointments, something you also told us you appreciated, while making sure we can now see clients who need us five days a week.

In case you can't read the image above, here are our updated office hours, which come into effect from Monday, November 9th:

Monday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Tuesday: 12:30 PM-5:30 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM-11:00 AM
Friday: 8:00 AM-3:30 PM

If you have a scheduled appointment outside these hours, don’t worry! We’ll be giving you a call to reschedule soon, and we’ll be sure to schedule you on the same day and as close to your original appointment as possible!

As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions at all.

Very sincerely,
The Four Town Vet Team

*Please note our last scheduled appointments begin at our closing time, but our phones are turned off to allow us to close down the clinic and get ready to send the staff home afterwards!

**Wednesday morning will be generally reserved for surgeries, but our office will be open for medication pickup, scheduling, and everything else you might need! Urgent appointments will be scheduled in the early afternoon.

Recently we had the pleasure of meeting Miss Millie for the first time. She decided we all needed an enthusiastic cuddle and kisses. She was a very good girl and agreed to pause long enough so we could take her photo (we may or may not have offered her a tasty bribe). After this she went right back to raising staff morale!

Hey Four Town family--

Please excuse our dust! Some of you may have driven by and noticed the work trucks outside the clinic today. We're very pleased to share that we are carrying out some long-needed updates and improvements to our practice. We'll share all the details later, but if you're coming in for an appointment sometime soon, just know that this work is happening outside of our open hours and will not impact our ability to see patients and clients in the meantime--only enhance it!

Four Town Vet is pleased to announce that we’ve partnered with Cherry to offer financed payment plans for sick and urgent-care visits. As part of the local community, a core role of our practice is to listen to our clients and respond to their needs. We know that everything’s expensive right now, and no matter how much we try and keep our services fairly priced, an unexpected bill for a sick pet can make owners worry about making ends meet.

We selected Cherry over competitors (like ScratchPay or CareCredit) because of their client-focused model: their plans always offer a zero-interest option, require no hard credit check, and have no hidden fees, with no service fee or extra charge added by the clinic. This isn’t something everyone needs, but for those who need it, pets and owners alike, it can make the difference between access to life-saving care and going without. To learn more about Cherry, you can visit their site here: http://withcherry.com/consumers.

On top of that, this is just the first of several exciting announcements about how we’re improving our services and facility over the next few months to better serve you, our community—make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to hear more, or shoot us an email at [email protected] or give us a call at +1 (860) 763-0847 if you want to get in touch!

Hello, Four Town family! How's your Monday going?

We recently had the incredibly photogenic Selena come in for a little procedure, and she just couldn't stop posing for the cameras. What natural talent! And of course she was a perfect lady with our staff, too.

Hello Four Town family!

This is just to let you know that the practice will be closed Monday, September 7 in celebration of Labor Day. If you need to refill medications before the holiday weekend, please give us a call as soon as you can--ideally before noon on Friday so we'll definitely have time to fill them! We'll reopen Tuesday as normal.

In the meantime, here are some tips for ensuring a fun, relaxing holiday spent with your family, furry and otherwise!
