At KERRI, our mission is rooted in best-practice rehabilitation, thoughtful placement, and complete transparency. We are committed to giving every horse the time, care, and support they need to successfully transition into their next career—while ensuring each adopter has a clear understanding of their horse’s health, history, and potential.
Our goal is simple: to create the best possible match between horse and rider, setting both up for long-term success.
Before being offered for adoption, every KERRI horse receives:
• A comprehensive veterinary evaluation upon intake, including x-rays, farrier assessment, ulcer scope, and body condition scoring
• Adequate rest and let-down time (typically 4–6 weeks)
• Careful assessment of temperament and future career potential
• Targeted rehabilitation therapies, when needed
• Full medical transparency provided to all prospective adopters
