Hey everyone!

It's a beautiful day for a horse show!!!

A couple of awesome things we have going on:

Check in at the office when you arrive for your numbers. Also please check your final ride time and make sure we have you signed up for photos if you paid for them.

Concessions! Donuts and coffee will be available this morning and lunch will be provided (pulled pork, hot dogs, pasta salad, beans, corn, etc). All concession sales help save horses with S2S Equine Rescue!

Side note: Go say hi to our baby, Phoenix! There is a sign on the gate of the paddock he is in. He had surgery at Iowa State last week and we are really hopeful that it is a positive outcome! He's a goofy guy and would love to say hi!

And one more note: Are you bored? Did you get drug to your horse show by your significant other? Hey, we get it! If you like to fish, please feel free to fish the pond (we've got gear, track down Andy). Andy can also show you all the sweet spots! We got some huge bass in there. We can't offer a ton more entertainment than that, but hey, it's something :) Thanks for supporting your loved one!

Hello everyone,

Here are the tentative ride times for this weekend. I apologize for not getting them out yesterday. We had a few schedule changes, and because of the rain, we had to move many of today's tasks to yesterday. Everything has come together, though!

Please keep in mind that these times may shift slightly, but they should give you a good idea of when you'll be riding. As always, if you notice an error or have any questions, please email me or text me at 319-430-3800.

After stadium, you will go directly to cross-country. You are welcome to wear your cross-country attire during the stadium phase. Please remember that stadium times are approximate—we provide them to help the show run as smoothly as possible. You may have a short wait before heading out on course, but we do our best to keep everyone moving efficiently.

Most importantly, we want everyone to feel **safe**. If, for any reason, you would feel more comfortable dropping down a level, that is absolutely not a problem. We are happy to make accommodations to ensure you have a safe, fun, and confidence-building experience. Please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything we can do to help.

There will be a few options on the cross-country course. I'll be posting the virtual course walks on Facebook today between rain showers. For Fantasy and Starter divisions, the water and "ditch" questions are optional.

The current entry status is attached. Please take a few minutes to look it over carefully and let me know if you notice any errors or if you need any changes made. I'm quite sure I didn't accurately capture everyone's requests haha! But I tried! I want to make sure everything is correct before I finalize ride times :)

A few reminders and updates:

If you haven't paid yet, please do so as soon as possible. It really helps keep everything running smoothly before the show.

Waivers are required. Please complete your waiver before you arrive. Everyone must have a signed waiver on file, and helmets are required anytime you are mounted. Sign Waiver Here: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/vdbaqftkwxh5zrndqvyjcu/web/

Trailer Parking: If you'll be bringing a 4-horse trailer or larger, please let me know as soon as you can so I can plan trailer parking. We have a very full day, and to make everything fit, some of the 2- and 3-horse trailers will need to park in the south field. I apologize for the inconvenience, but it's the only way we can accommodate everyone.

Tack Sale for S2S Equine Rescue: Be sure to stop by and do a little shopping! All proceeds benefit S2S Equine Rescue. If you have any used tack or horse items you'd like to donate, we'd love to have them! Just bring them along!

Come Say Hello to the Rescue Horses! While you're here, please take a few minutes to meet the rescue horses. You helped save them just by supporting this show. Our newest little guy, Phoenix, just had surgery yesterday and is recovering well. He's an incredibly sweet, goofy little horse who would love some visitors (from outside his space while he heals!).

Concessions: We'll have breakfast and lunch available throughout the day, with proceeds also benefiting S2S Equine Rescue. We'll have donuts and coffee in the morning, and for lunch we're planning pulled pork, hot dogs, and sides (I think, don't quote me ont that!).

Thank you all for supporting our little show and helping us support the horses. We can't wait to see everyone this weekend!
