🚨 URGENT: Senior Dog Needs New Home / Foster 🚨

A 9-year-old male Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mastiff mix is in need of an immediate new home or foster placement as his owner is moving out of state in just a few days and cannot take him along.

🐾 About him:
* 9 years old, neutered male
* Up to date on vaccinations
* Potty trained
* Good with kids
* Good with other dogs
* Likely separation anxiety due to being used to a home where people were always present

⚠️ Important notes:
* High prey drive
* Cannot be placed with cats or small animals (has shown aggressive behavior toward cats in the past)
* May struggle with separation anxiety when left alone for long periods

🏡 What he needs:
* A stable home or foster experienced with dogs who may have anxiety
* Ideally no cats or small animals in the home
* Someone willing to give him patience, structure, and time to adjust

Time is extremely limited due to the upcoming move. Foster or adopter needed ASAP to prevent him from ending up without placement.

We have been asked for assistance in getting this boy into a new home. This is the information we have been given.

“4-year-old dog seeking a new home. He is great with kids of all ages and has been an emotional support animal for a child with autism. Due to food aggression around other animals, he must be the only pet in the home. He is an active dog who loves to run and play, so he would do best with someone who can provide plenty of exercise and attention. He is a wonderful companion and will thrive in the right home.”

We’ve got a special guest hanging out with us today! 💕🐾

This handsome boy decided to take himself on an adventure without checking in with his parents first! 🤣 Thankfully, he’s safe, happy, and enjoying some extra attention while we wait for his family to get off work and pick him up. Sometimes the best adventures are the unplanned ones but we’re sure his family will be happy to have him back home soon! 🐶❤️
