The farm is less silly & joyful. Judy passed away Monday & her spry spirit is greatly missed in the everyday mundane that she made anything but.
Chomping at rain drops or pollinators, making the silliest sounds doing nothing, asking for pets when she was once known for being a biter. Well, ok, she was still a biter but they become more love bites over the past three years. Except towards kids but I mean I'd bite some kids too if I could.
We had her half her life & the only thing that is getting me thru this is that we gave her the best life. Farm dog who got to hump chickens, frolick 23 acres, she even got to help catch a fox once. She was even pampered & got to live like an indoor city gal for a while where her true love of destuffing stuffies came to light.
Oh & the uncountable car rides she took with me & with strangers. The gator rides were her favorite. She had not one but two big sisters.
She is now nestled in the field beside Sentry, buried under wildflower pollinator seeds so she can continue to enjoy her flying spicy raisins.
Dark humor- I told Robert I wasn't sure I wanted to bury them side by side so as to not get them mixed up in case I unearthed their bones for preservation. He reminded me Sentry weighed 125 & Judy was closer to 25lbs.
They are together as I fall apart.
Sweet Judy Blue Eyes.
Beautiful disaster like Judy Garland.
Drama queen like Dame Judy Dench.
Cutie Judy's half splootie bo**ie.
Turdy tassles, f***l fringe, poopy pom poms.
One last whistle.
Judy, Judy, Judy.
