For those who don't know!

Meet Our Board Member: Tony Estes
Tony joined the board in March 2026 and has been a valued part of the market for many years, where he’s affectionately known as the “Fun Guy.” After serving in the United States Navy from 2005 to 2014, Tony later relocated to Socorro in May of 2022 and began vending at the market in August of that same year, initially offering custom laser engraving. With years of experience growing and selling mushrooms, Tony is the proud owner of FunGi Mushrooms. In addition to his fungi expertise, he offers a variety of smoked baked goods and is especially famous for his made-to-order smoked cheesecakes—community favorites that keep folks coming back!
Outside of the market, Tony gives back by volunteering at the Midwest Cap, where he helps serve food to low-income residents. In his free time, he enjoys practicing Tai Chi and board breaking.
The Socorro Farmers Market can always count on Tony to lend a hand. Whether it’s sign painting, setup and cleanup, serving on committees, or helping with events, he’s always ready to jump in and support the community.
We appreciate everything you do for the market, Tony, and we’re grateful to have you on the board!

WE’RE MOVING!!!
Saturday April 25th will be our last Indoor Market. Featuring Martial Arts Institute of Socorro for World Tai Chi & Qigong Day! Be sure to join us in practice. All levels welcome. 10am to noon at the Socorro Youth Center.
The NEXT Saturday, May 2nd we will debut our Outdoor Market from 9am until noon at the Historic Socorro Plaza!!! We can’t wait to see you all soon. Have a blessed week!
