I keep seeing these post asking if you can find a nice horse for under 10k. Absolutely, but will that horse come made and with show miles , no. That’s absurd to expect, made horses take time and money to develop and show. There are 2 horses and 1 pony in this video, altogether they cost me 5k. We call them our Temu ponies! Sure I paid roughly $1,500 a piece and they are all nice but they didn’t come that way! We were willing to put in the time to create these lovely partners. Unfortunately in this day and age people want something that is ready right now! We live in a day of instant gratification. Good things take time, learn to enjoy the journey! Two of these guys came off the track and the pony was pulled out of a field at age twelve completely feral. They all take kids showing, xc , trail riding , swimming. You name it they are willing to try! My kid doesn’t get made ponies, she gets ponies that she can say “I made that”. Lifelong skills and character development are made when you’re not handed something that someone else has already done the hard work on!
