Redness, swelling, or odor can be early signs of dental disease and are worth checking out, even when appetite hasn’t changed. 🐱🦷

We had a great time yesterday, thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hi. Lupe, Ted, and Sister all slept very well last night after a long day of pets and treats. We will be at the Snoqualmie Block Party on September 12th next!

‼️Exciting news‼️
We are very happy to announce that we are expanding our boarding facility! As some of you may have noticed, there is construction going on in the building next to Domino's. This building will be our new canine boarding facility! We are hoping that this area will be up and running by the end of October, if everything goes according to plan.

Shelters across the country are overwhelmed, especially with cats and kittens. On Homeless Animals Day, we’re highlighting the urgent need for adoptions, fosters, and community support.
Even sharing a shelter cat’s profile can help them find a home. Let’s make space and save lives. 🐾

Puppy update! 🐾❤️

LSN had a rough go, but we’re very happy to say she is home now, recovering with her puppies.

Just to recap the whirlwind of the last 24 hours: LSN gave birth to her first baby, and then…nothing. When it became clear things weren’t progressing, it was off to VEG in Redmond, where they were able to help deliver a breech puppy.

Overnight, she slowly continued giving birth, but the final three puppies just weren’t coming. So we were off again—this time to Salish Veterinary Hospital for an urgent C-section to safely deliver the remaining babies.

LSN delivered 12 puppies in total. Sadly, two did not survive, so we have 10 little babies with us — 6 boys and 4 girls! 💙💙💙💙💙💙 🩷🩷🩷🩷

We are incredibly grateful to the teams at VEG and Salish. Without their care and quick intervention, LSN may not have survived, and we’re certain we would have lost more puppies as well. We cannot thank them enough for helping get our girl and her babies through this.

Now the most important thing is giving mama time to rest, recover, and bond with her puppies. We’re hopeful that she’ll be able to nurse everyone herself, but with 10 hungry little mouths and a mama recovering from surgery, we’re prepared to supplement or bottle-feed if needed.

For now, we’re keeping things as quiet and stress-free as possible. We know everyone is excited to see the babies, and we’ll get more pictures posted as soon as we reasonably can without disturbing mama.

Thank you to everyone who has been following along, donating, sending supplies, and cheering LSN and her babies on. It has been a very long 24 hours, but Mama is home, 10 babies are snuggled in, and now it’s time to recover. ❤️
