🌟 Meet our EYLS Rabbit Sponsorship recipient! 🌟

We're excited to introduce Audrey and Tater Tot! 🐇

This is Audrey's second year at EYLS, and she keeps busy competing in 4-H, open shows, and ARBA Royalty competitions.

Working with Tater Tot has taught Audrey an important lesson: not every rabbit responds to training in the same way. Sometimes you have to try different approaches to find what works best for your animal—and that patience and adaptability are skills that reach far beyond the show ring.

And Tater Tot has a pretty interesting title coming up...

🐇 He'll be considered a roaster, which Audrey describes as a happy medium and a great market option.

🐔 Roune — 2nd Year EYLS Exhibitor

For Roune, one of the fun parts of raising broilers is weighing his birds and watching their progress. Keeping records has also helped him learn accountability and the importance of staying on top of daily animal care.

One lesson he's learned this year? Have your supplies ready before bringing your birds into the space where you'll be grooming them!

And his favorite chicken fact: Some breeds can lay up to 320 eggs per year! 🥚

🌟 Meet our EYLS Broiler Sponsorship recipient! 🌟

🐔 Dane — 3rd Year Exhibitor

Dane is in his third year showing with his 4-H club and says one of the most rewarding parts of the experience is getting the opportunity to show and auction his birds at the fair.

Through his project, Dane has learned about safe chicken transportation and biosecurity procedures—important skills that extend far beyond the show ring.

His favorite chicken fun fact? Sometimes hens develop spurs, which are typically associated with roosters!
