That's a wrap! We loaded up the family and 5 dogs and headed outta town for a competition and knocked out a lot of goals.

We are extremely proud of our USCA Youth handler who handled Tigris in the 24 month + open class and W***y in the Working Class males class. She took first place in both classes!

Tigris received SG1, handled by Kersti on Sunday. Tigris also participated in her WB Character Assessment, handled by Kimberly.

W***y received V1, handled by Kersti. W***y also went on to receive his lifetime breed survey. His off leash obedience as well as his gripping and outing in the protection work were spot on. We're especially pleased to see him maintaining his athleticism at 7.5 years of age.

Rakete placed V1 in the conformation show and received her lifetime breed survey.

Ulla and Rollexx also competed in the conformation show. Both placed SG1. I love seeing the whole family out, working together, like a well oiled machine showing, caring for the dogs and working them together.

We're on the road home and excited to see everyone at classes this week.

Thank you to Judge Heidi Theis, the Treasure Valley Working Dog Club and the other competitors for a great event. The hospitality and experience is always top notch.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS to Zoomin Maverick vom Haus Audax 🎉👏

He and his amazing and talented human drive to Treasure Valley and entered a USCA trial to earn their WB (Character Assessment). He did extremely well with all the phases.

It was so fun to watch how unphased he was the chainsaw and other noxious noises.

Congratulations Mav!

🐾🎓 W***y’s graduation day is almost here! 🎓🐾
Tomorrow, this handsome boy graduates from his Board & Train, and what a journey it’s been! He’s grown so much, both in size and in skill. 💪🐶

W***y has blossomed into such a gentleman in the home, showing off his good manners and all the skills he’s been working so hard to learn. But don’t let those manners fool you… he’s still a goofy puppy with a BIG personality and an even sweeter heart! ❤️

Watching puppies grow in confidence, learn new skills, and become wonderful companions is what it’s all about. We can’t wait to see W***y continue to shine with his family! 🐾✨

A little at-home grooming know-how can make a big difference for you and your pet! 🐾✂️

Join our Pet Grooming 101 Seminar to learn how to approach everyday grooming care safely and confidently. We’ll cover choosing tools and shampoos, bath-time tips, dematting and deshedding, nail care, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, and more—including when scissors are helpful and when it’s best to put them down.

This seminar is for pet parents looking for guidance with routine at-home care—not professional grooming training.

These ladies shined at Ladies Night yesterday evening!

📣 Please join us in congratulating two teams for passing their CGCA & CGC exams! 🎉

🌟 PhilBilly and his human Mom passed their Advanced Canine Good Citizen Community test‼️

🌟 Bizzie and her Mama passed their Canine Good Citizen exam‼️

👀 The engagement and obvious team work and bond between these dog-handler teams was a beautiful demonstration of all they've learned at Audax.

Congratulations Ladies! 👏

More freedom starts with clear communication. 🐾

Curious about e-collar training, but want to understand the basics first? Our upcoming E Collar Basics Seminar is a three-part course designed to help you build your knowledge and practice key skills with your dog.

We’ll start with getting familiar with the e-collar and conditioning your dog, then work on off-leash walking and a reliable place behavior, before finishing with recall practice.

A quick note: This course isn’t suitable for reactive or aggressive dogs. Not sure if it’s the right fit for your dog? Give us a call before signing up—we’re happy to talk it through.

Improve your dog’s motivation—and strengthen your relationship—through play!

Play is more than fun: it can help you connect with your dog and channel their natural motivation into obedience, dog sports, or working disciplines.

At my How to Play with Your Dog Seminar, we’ll explore how to access, shape, develop, and maintain your dog’s drives through play. You’ll discover new games, try different toys, learn what your dog enjoys, and build toy drive in a productive way.

Come play, learn, and grow your partnership—one game at a time!

Our Intermediate & Advanced class was full of fun new skills, obstacles and learning opportunities. The dogs were all working in close proximity to each other, learning directions, learning to go around objects and putting multiple skills together.

Watching the progress and learning connections each dog made in less than an hour is one of the many reasons we love what we do!

I only wish I'd videoed more of class!

Fading the lure can be hard. Reducing and eliminating handler help is hard. It requires that we are teachable, open to change and willing to be coached and learn.

I am loving watching Rollexx's work develop and his precision increase as well as his drive and enthusiasm.
Obedience work that at its core is built on a love for work, love and relationship with their owner/hander as well as drive for the reward creates an energy and openness that is otherwise not present.

Capture the heart of the dog and the rest will fall into place. ❤️
