This walk gives us opportunities to explore, practice recall, and reward checking in… all while keeping safety part of the plan.

I want your dogs to enjoy the world around them while learning that coming back to us is rewarding, too. Those little moments of connection matter just as much as the commands we practice.

Muzzle conditioning, thoughtful management, and training can help make room for more experiences like this. More sniffing, more learning, and more adventures together. 🫶

Meet four of the pups working on big goals here at Revival K9! 🐾💚 Each has their own training plan, and we’re excited to help them grow!

🐶 Astro | Custom 2-Week Program
Astro’s program focuses on helping him feel more comfortable with social, spatial, and leash pressure, building a positive association with his muzzle, and developing impulse control and self-regulation. We’re also working through frustration at his kennel door and building a more reliable recall!

🐶 Lola | 24-Day Training Program
Lola is working on leash reactivity, impulse control, and following through with commands when distractions are around. Our goal is to help her navigate everyday situations with more focus and calmer responses!

🐶 Sundae | 10-Day Training Program
Sundae is building her basic obedience foundation while growing her confidence and independence. We’re helping her feel comfortable learning, exploring, and settling without always needing her family or housemate Ruby nearby!

🐶 Ruby | Training Program
Ruby is also working on basic obedience, confidence, and independence from her family and Sundae. She’ll have opportunities to build trust in herself and practice navigating the world on her own four paws!

For Sundae and Ruby, individual training time gives each girl room to learn at her own pace while still enjoying their bond at home. 🤍

🐾 Meet Sally. This is why we need The First 100. ❤️

Sally is a young hound who recently came to us from Pender County Animal Shelter.

Somewhere along the way, Sally suffered a serious injury that resulted in the amputation of one of her legs. It's suspected she may have been hit by a car, but we don't know exactly what happened.

What we do know is that Sally is in rough shape. 💔

She needs medical care, proper nutrition, a safe place to recover, and a whole lot of TLC.

Sally is in the hands of our veterinary team, and we're going to do everything we can to help her heal.

❤️ But here's something we want you to understand about rescue.

Dogs like Sally don't arrive on a schedule. We don't get to plan for their medical needs, their recovery time, or the expenses that come with saving them.

And when a dog like Sally needs us, we don't want finances to be the reason we have to say no.

THAT is why we launched The First 100.

We're looking for 100 people willing to commit to just $10 a month to help us build a dependable foundation for animals who need us.

Sometimes training looks like this: staying in one spot while the world keeps moving. 🐾

We’re practicing place, rewarding calm choices, and helping these pups learn that every movement, person, or dog doesn’t need their involvement.

We build that skill gradually, with clear expectations, manageable distractions, and plenty of reinforcement… so it can carry over into everyday life with you. 🤍

Because being part of the family also means learning how to hang out.

We’re hiring an experienced dog trainer! 🐾

Revival K9 is growing, and we’re looking for someone who cares about helping dogs and their people build lasting skills, confidence, and better lives together.

We’d love to connect with a trainer who has hands-on professional experience, strong communication skills, and a thoughtful, individualized approach to training. Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to keep learning are a must!

This is an independent contractor position, with opportunities to take on dogs from RK9 as needed and as your availability allows. You’re welcome to work for another training company while accepting dogs through us, as long as the other business is comfortable with that arrangement.
