Our Stay & Trains are officially HYBRID! 🐾

Your dog stays and trains with us Monday–Friday, then heads home for the weekend so you can begin practicing and transferring those skills into your everyday life.

Why the change? Because we don’t just want your dog to listen to their trainer: we want those skills to work with YOU, at home, where they matter most.

Each week gives us the opportunity to train, send your dog home to practice, identify what needs more work, and continue building from there.

More owner involvement. More real-life application. More intentional training. 🤎

📅 We’re now booking October and have a few Stay & Train spots remaining!

DM us “OCTOBER” for program information and availability. Or shoot us an email [email protected]

You don’t need to carve out hours every day to have a well-trained dog.

Some of the most valuable training happens in the tiny moments you’re already moving through together.

Waiting at the door. Getting leashed. Coming out of the crate. Settling while you cook dinner. Greeting you without launching themselves at you. Walking from the house to the car.

Stop separating “training” from real life.

When expectations become part of the routine, your dog gets dozens of opportunities every day to practice the behaviors you actually want to live with.

Small moments. Clear expectations. Lots of repetition. That’s where reliability is built.

Save this for the next time you think, “I don’t have time to train today.”

Why does your dog have a leash on… inside the house? 👀🐾

Because sometimes the simplest management tools make the biggest difference.

A short, lightweight drag line gives you an easy way to guide, interrupt, and redirect your dog without chasing them, grabbing their collar, or repeating yourself over and over.

We recommend a short leash with NO handle or loop so it can drag freely without easily snagging on furniture or other objects.

⚠️ Drag lines are for supervised use only and should never be left on a crated or unattended dog.

Remember: management prevents rehearsal, and training teaches the alternative.

✨ OUR STAYS ARE CHANGING — INTRODUCING STAY & REFRESH ✨

We’ve always believed that your dog’s time with us should be more than simply having a place to stay.

As we continue to grow, our traditional stays are transitioning into Stay & Refreshers because we want every dog in our care to have a stay that is purposeful, intentional, and beneficial to them. 🐾

So, what does that mean?

Every Stay & Refresh will include a combination of activities tailored to your individual dog, including:

🐕 Light Training + Goal-Specific Training
Refreshing skills they already know, reinforcing household manners, or working toward goals specific to your dog.

🧠 Enrichment
Mental stimulation, problem-solving activities, sniffing opportunities, movement, and other outlets based on what your dog enjoys.

🎾 One-on-One Play
Individual time to play, engage, move, and have fun with their handler.

🐾 Small Group Play
For dogs who enjoy and are appropriate for social interaction, carefully selected small-group play gives them an opportunity to socialize without the overwhelm of a large daycare environment.

🌿 Back-Tie Decompression
Intentional time to simply exist, observe, settle, and practice being calm without constantly being entertained or stimulated.

Every dog is different…. which means every stay doesn’t need to look exactly the same.

Some dogs thrive with more training.
Some need more enrichment.
Some love appropriate social time.
And some benefit most from learning how to slow down and decompress.

Our goal with Stay & Refresh is to send your dog home not only happy and cared for, but with their skills refreshed and their individual needs fulfilled.

Less “just boarding.” More purpose behind every stay. 🤎

Neutrality is a skill. 👏🏼

Not every dog needs to say hello.
Not every distraction needs a reaction.
And not every outing needs to be filled with constant engagement.

Sometimes the goal is simply teaching your dog how to exist in the environment without feeling the need to interact with everything in it.

We practice slowing down, observing, checking in, and letting the world move around them. That calm neutrality builds confidence, impulse control, and a dog who can make better choices when life gets busy.

Because a dog who can calmly watch the world go by?
That’s a skill worth training. 🤎

🌧️ RAINY SATURDAY CHALLENGE 🐾

Stuck inside with your dog today? Pick ONE challenge based on what your dog needs most 👇

🐕 IMPULSE CONTROL
Practice PLACE while you open the fridge, walk around, grab the leash, or open the front door. Can they hold it?

🐕 VELCRO DOG
Practice simply existing near you without constant attention. Use a place cot, bed, or supervised back-tie while you go about your routine.

🐕 BUSY-BODY
Use part of their meal for a sniffing game! Scatter it around a room and let their nose do the work. 🧠

🐕 “I KNOW IT AT HOME”
Grab the leash and spend 5–10 minutes practicing engagement, leash pressure, place, recall + duration.

🐕 OVEREXCITED
Your assignment: DO LESS. 👏
Practice calmness, waiting at thresholds, duration and simply settling without constant stimulation.

Rainy days are a great reminder that fulfillment doesn’t always mean physically exhausting your dog.

Sometimes the best thing we can teach them is how to simply settle. 🐾
