Its going to be a hot week again! Please walk your dogs early morning or in the evenings, limit their time outdoors and watch the hot pavement on their paws! Bring your pets INSIDE and have plenty of clean water for them!

🥵 This could be one of the hottest beginnings of September on record for Kansas City! maybe a cooldown around Labor Day? I was hoping for an early fall, but September can still be plenty hot in the Midwest. What about y’all?

Our friends Liberty Animal Control & Shelter will be doing renovations very soon and need to find homes for these dogs! If you're able to adopt, consider checking out who they have!

🥺❤️ 15 years old and looking for a lap to call his own…

I visited Max today at Gladstone Animal Shelter , and he is an absolute sweetheart. He’s about 25 lbs, a good boy, and still has plenty of s***k and love left to give.

Max grew up with dogs, cats and kids and would love nothing more than a warm lap and a family to spend his golden years with. 🐾❤️

He does have a little adventurous streak... an open door or gate looks like an invitation to explore 😂 ... so his new family will need to keep a close eye on him.

At 15 years old, Max deserves to be curled up next to someone who loves him, not waiting in a shelter. 🥺

Don’t let my age fool you—I still have energy and curiosity to spare. I do have one little quirk: if I see an open door or gate, I’m off on an adventure! 😅 Because of that, I’m looking for someone who can keep a very close eye on me and help me stay safe.

I grew up around dogs, kids, and cats, so I’m ready to fit right into a loving home. Most of all, I’d love a new lap to curl up on and warm. 🥰

We had a very special visitor yesterday... Piper, formerly Harrah! ❤️

Piper stopped by to help us show off our newly repaired and freshly painted dog play equipment... and obviously, we needed a professional model for the job.
She absolutely nailed the photoshoot! 😂❤️

Best of all, Piper is thriving in her forever home and is still every bit as sweet as we remember her. It makes my heart so happy getting to see our former pound pups again and seeing just how loved and happy they are.
Thanks for coming back to visit us, Piper! You can come model for us anytime! 🐾💕
