DeKalb Animal Clinic was initially founded in 1987 to serve the needs of pet parents in Smithville, TN, and the surrounding area.

In 2005, Dr. Scott Little purchased a new building on West Broad Street to serve the clinic’s growing clientele. Today, the clinic has four examination rooms, a two-table surgical suite, and several large treatment areas. Having the newest digital x-ray and on-site chemistry equipment, our veterinary team takes pride in giving our clients and their pets the best and most affordable care.

Happy Friday!! A few items to note, we will be closed on Monday September 7th in observance of Labor Day. Please check you pets prescriptions and call early so we can get those refills ready for you. Dr Huffman and Tia will be set up in front of Rocky Jane's at the Shop Local Late event on the square starting at 4! Please stop by and say Hi 👋 to our new Dr and we have some goodies to give out! Shop all the other stores to support local small businesses and for great items and yummy treats, there will also be vendors set up with Farmers Market items as well. We hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!
