On the latest podcast episode of The Resilient Warrior Nation, Mike speaks with Scott Roessler. Scott is a retired U.S. Army Green Beret Master Sergeant with 20 years ofdistinguished service in Army Special Operations. Throughout his career, he served with elite units such as the 1st Ranger Battalion and the 7th Special Forces Group (Green Berets). Over the course of (11) combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Scott gained extensive experience operating under prolonged, high-stress combat conditions. His background provides a unique blend of tactical expertise and resilience developed in some of the most challenging environments.
Scott was a Cohort One participant in the Stanford University Ibogaine for PTSD Observational Study, a landmark clinical research effort published in 2024. This study examined the effects of Ibogaine on trauma-related symptomatology in U.S. Special Operations veterans, evaluating changes in psychological distress, cognitive performance, autonomic regulation, and overall functional well-being following treatment. His perspective integrates lived operational exposure with direct participation instructured clinical research, offering valuable insight into both the challenges faced by veterans and the potential for innovative therapeutic solutions.
