18 hours of driving and looking like drug runners 😂 We have the best of the best grass seed. Perfect formulation of healthy greens and legumes with a dash of alfalfa. This week it is being drilled into the ground for best forage growth. No expense was spared on the foundation of MCF. We also hope to bale it for rounds to feed year round.

Tucked on the outskirts of Smithfield on 40 acres, Mill Creek Farm is officially underway. While we do not know how long before opening, we invite you along on our Journey.

Mill Creek Farm’s goal is to provide affordable boarding, beautiful atmosphere and exceptional care. Amenities will include trails, Bemer therapy, arena, wash area, tack locker and option for stall rentals.

While the facility is new, we aren’t new to the boarding business and diligently are working to make layout and everything involved convienent and safe to provide a happy home for your horse.

Please feel free to ask any questions along the way and we are open to receiving ideas and input on what would make you happy to see at a boarding facility.

We are currently in the permitting phase and meeting a few “hold ups” but are working to get everything moving forward.

Here is a preliminary drawing of the facility, while a few things may change, we really are loving this layout.

Owners will live on site, home will be located on top of a hill with views of all horses on property.
