One of the most special moments of the evening was hearing from the McMullen Family—Mike, Susan, and their son Christopher. ❤️

Mike and Susan shared their heartfelt gratitude to Storm Harbor for the opportunities their son, Christopher, has had through riding. Christopher has been riding at Storm Harbor for many years, and the joy he experiences while riding—and the excitement he has every time he comes to the barn—is truly something special.

And then there was Christopher, who was absolutely thrilled to be on stage and be part of the evening! His excitement and happiness were contagious and made the moment even more memorable.

Stories like Christopher’s remind us why Storm Harbor exists and why the support of our community means so much. Thank you, Mike and Susan, for sharing your story and allowing us to celebrate Christopher! 🐴💚

🌟 Volunteer of the Year 🌟
This year’s Volunteer of the Year is someone who has truly gone above and beyond for Storm Harbor Equestrian Center.
When there is a call for help, she is there! She has a genuine passion for our riders and students, as well as our equestrian clubs. She may be the first to tell you she isn’t a “horse person,” but that has never stopped her from jumping in and helping wherever she is needed.
Her true passion is our riders and making sure they enjoy their time at Storm Harbor.
This past year, she also became affectionately known as our “Sensory Trail Fairy.” ✨ Through her creativity, many new, colorful, fun, and unexpected elements appeared along the trail—bringing plenty of smiles, surprises, and excited comments from our riders.
She also has an extra-special connection to Storm Harbor, as her daughter rides with the English Equestrian Club and works as a student worker at the center.
Her kindness, creativity, dedication, and willingness to help have made a wonderful difference at Storm Harbor.
So, please join us in giving a very warm and well-deserved THANK YOU to our 2026 Volunteer of the Year…

What a beautiful evening at Sunset Serenade! ❤️🇺🇸🐴

The weather cooperated, the barn was filled with laughter and friendship, and most importantly, our Storm Harbor family came together to support something truly special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, donated, sponsored, volunteered, bid on auction items, purchased raffle tickets, shared our event, or supported Storm Harbor in any way. **Every bit of your support helps make a difference in the lives of the riders and horses who call Storm Harbor home.**
