🏠🐕‍🦺🐕 It’s Animal Control & Care Appreciation Week! Today we helped this little guy out. His name is Camryn, and he was surrendered to Slidell Animal Shelter…in bad shape. We cleared out his matted fur, trimmed his long nails, gave him a good trim, good soothing bath…and now he’s ready for happy days! Sweetest little disposition🥹 Here’s his before & after. He is available for adoption right now at Slidell Animal Shelter!❤️ Thank you, Slidell Animal Shelter, for all you do for these little (and big) souls!🙌

🏆What an honor!!🏆 Voted Best Pet Grooming & Best Pet Boarding in East St. Tammany Parish! Eighth consecutive year! This is especially special this year as we're celebrating our 20th Anniversary of Mary's B&B. The ladies standing beside me…the best of the best. Two are missing from this photo, Kyleigh and Peighton. The care, personal interest, and compassion shown to each individual guest in their care is beyond gratifying. I'm definitely blessed with and grateful for these sweet ladies. They're truly deserving of this award, and I'm so proud to work alongside them! Truly an award winning team! Thank you from our hearts to all of our beloved pet parents, new and long-standing. Getting to know you and your babies has been a unique, rewarding, and really cool experience! Cheers to many happy years ahead! We love you all right back! 💗🐾

🎾 🎾 Indoor playtime at Mary’s B&B! Indoor play is a great, safe environment for pups to play all day while boarding OR if they’re getting groomed, and you need to leave them for the day while you’re at work or out & about for the day! 🎾🎾

🚨 Emergency Fosters Needed – Freezing Weather Coming! 🚨

Slidell and St. Tammany Parish, we need your help right now. A major cold snap with ice and freezing temperatures is expected to hit late Saturday into early Sunday — and our shelter dogs are in danger of facing those freezing conditions.

Our kennels have indoor/outdoor access so dogs can go outside to potty, but with this severe weather, there’s no way to keep them warm enough. We urgently need emergency foster homes to keep these dogs safe and comfortable.

You can come pick up a dog as soon as tomorrow, Friday — the sooner, the better! All supplies needed will be provided.

Our goal is for every dog to be in a warm home BEFORE Saturday evening, AHEAD of the freezing weather.

Please, if you can open your home — even for a few days — you’ll be saving a life.

This cold snap is expected to last all week, and any amount of time you can foster makes a difference.

St. Tammany has a big heart — we know our community can come through. Please help make sure every dog sleeps warm and safe. ❤️🐾
