This week, we want to take a moment to celebrate not only our veterinary technicians, but our entire Veterinary Medical Center team!

It takes a special kind of heart to work in veterinary medicine. Our staff shows compassion, patience, and dedication every day—not only to the pets we care for, but also to the families who trust us with their beloved companions.

Many of you will recognize the familiar faces you’ve come to know and love over the years. ❤️

A little snoozy, a whole lot of good! 💙

This sweet boy is waking up after his neuter, and he’s a great reminder of why spaying and neutering matters!

In honor of National Feral Cat Day (October 16), we’re celebrating the many ways we can help cats in our community. Whether it’s a beloved family pet or a community cat living outdoors, preventing unwanted litters is an important part of caring for animals.

Spaying and neutering helps prevent unplanned pregnancies and can provide important health benefits, too. And for community cats, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane approach that helps manage outdoor cat populations.

Did you know? Slidell Animal Control offers a TNR program to help community cats right here in our area! We’re grateful for the work being done to support the animals in our community. ❤️

From the pets curled up on our couches to the cats roaming our neighborhoods, every cat deserves compassion and care.

One procedure can make a big difference. 🐾

We are keeping an eye on this tropical system as it develops.

TD # 9 FORMS expected to become Hurricane Isaias on approach to the Gulf Coast this weekend. The first forecast calls for a 100 MPH CAT 2 at landfall near the MS/AL border. It remains early, residents of SE LA to the Florida Panhandle are in the cone and need to monitor closely.
