🐾 Meet Our August Pets of the Month: Axle & Bob! 🐾
This month, we’re celebrating two handsome gentlemen who have very different approaches to being adorable. 💕 Meet **Axle the dapper dachshund** and **Bob the shy tuxedo cat!**
🎩 **Axle**
Dachshunds were originally bred to hunt badgers underground—which explains a lot. 😂 Those little legs may be short, but the confidence is approximately **Great Dane-sized**. They’re also notorious burrowers, blanket thieves, and self-appointed household security officers who are perfectly willing to alert you to suspicious activity such as a delivery truck, a falling leaf, or your neighbor simply existing.
Axle, however, clearly takes his security duties seriously while maintaining a strict dress code. Just look at that distinguished gentleman. 🧐🐾
🖤🤍 **Bob**
Fun fact: “tuxedo cat” isn’t actually a breed—it describes that handsome black-and-white coat pattern, and tuxies can belong to several different breeds. But somewhere along the way, they apparently all received the memo that formal attire should be worn **at all times.** 🎩
Bob prefers a more mysterious approach to life. He may watch his Tall Tails sitter from a safe hiding spot while deciding whether we have earned an audience. 👀 We respect that. Some relationships require patience…and occasionally a little bribery in treat form.
Please give some love to our **August Pets of the Month, Axle & Bob!** 💕🐾
One is dressed for a black-tie event, the other looks like he’s already wearing the tuxedo. **August is apparently formalwear month at Tall Tails.** 😂
**Their home. Their routine. Our care.**
